Very much a lone voice it seems on this, but for the long term I think Pressley would be the better appointment. Possibly tempered by the fact Robin's walked away. While he was here Robin's didn't or wasn't able to change much behind the scenes, he didn't implement a scouting structure etc. Pressley did, yes he took it away with him when he left but I think Pressley would be the better fit in terms of shaping a club.

By scouting network, you mean football manager 2015's database?

Kinda liked Pressley, but he completely lost it towards the end

If true, it's already beginning to feel like less a longer term plan, more desperation.

Pressley was good at clawing back points deficits, but there is no chance he would keep us up

Would've been bizarre bringing him back although it doesn't surprise me with Fisher...The man who sacked him a mere 2 years ago.

Jesus Christ I watched TM on the first few games with SP`s players and none of them would listen to instructions, played like an ameture side and you could see TM shaking his head and walk back to the bench as if they were alien to professional football. We stayed up by the skin of our teeth and thats down to TM.
Robins will do a job but I pray the owners are offski as the best manager will do fook all under Sisu.

Trying to imagine John Nettles saying all that as per your avatar

Sorry Jim brown is well off the mark with this one.

Pressleys recruitment and man management skills were possibly worse than Slades. Remember the players telling him home truths on the training pitch? Remember first team players laughing at him in the changing rooms? Remember first team players rounding on him and allegedly pinning him to the dressing room wall for rounding on the younger players? Remember a premier team cancelling a loan due to Pressleys handling of there player? Remember him not getting the fact the Willis and Jordan Clarke at centre half wasn't an issue ?

No way would pressley be offered a job again in league football.

Why would they offer it to SP instead of Robins?
And why would they tell Jim Brown? I get that he has contacts at the club but in the timeframe we're talking about and given how few people are likely to have been involved in any manager change I find it hard to believe they've decided to tell him.

Pressley was never happening. Someone is just putting false news out at the time on twitter.
