I got it connected fine and I had the screen on my PC, but it disconnected quickly and I didn't bother continuing. Suspect it's just my connection, but the setup itself was child's play.

No, I've got them both connected to the router. It may even be that it was just that one disconnection and it'll run smooth as silk after, I just haven't tried it again (yet). The only downpoint otherwise is that it streams up to 720 rather than 1080, depending on how swanky a screen you might be using.

Got it working now, try it with a different USB cable, fixed it for me

Install an App on your PC / Mac, and you can play your playstation through it. So if your PC is upstairs or somewhere you can play a game on it.
