Coventry City boss Mark Robins has won the award for December's npower League One Manager of the Month.
He edged out Bournemouth's Eddie Howe after the Sky Blues notched four wins and a draw from their five fixtures, success at high-flying Doncaster Rovers and MK Dons earning them a record-breaking sequence of six consecutive away victories.
Alan Curbishley, a member of the awards panel, said: "Mark Robins has really given Coventry fans something to shout about, going unbeaten in December and moving the Sky Blues towards the play-off places."
And npower sponsorship manager Emma Collins added: "Mark Robins really was the stand out candidate this month. Four wins and a draw out of five is a fine achievement on its own, but when you look at the calibre of opponent and amount of away fixtures, you realise it has been a very special spell.
David McGoldrick picked up the League One Player of the Month award following his two-goal performances against Doncaster and Walsall.
The Nottingham Forest striker, hit 16 league goals during his stint at the Ricoh Arena, has since joined Ipswich on loan with a view to a permanent move this summer.
