Also just saw something on the Telegraph website about the Wasps fella saying they had no plans to buy us but the article showed numerous tweets from people (Sky Blues fans) pretty much begging Wasps to buy us and save us.

The best one was someone who said Wasps should buy us because they didn't want CCFC owned by a Hedge Fund.

Erm.....
Is that the article they roll out every week ? The interview with Richardson is 2 years old , and let's face it they have lost lots of cash since then.
I can never see them involved ( nor want them ) but I would imagine they are 100% behind a takeover, if only for their own future.

I think it's newer than 2 years ago as they referenced what he said when they barged in but you're right.

It could be Joy and Hoffman are keen on doing a deal which has took Tim and other investors out the loop until a deal is agreed by Joy. I still think they want out, but i don't think its easy or close to being done or even easy to get close to what SISU want. In my mind i don't think i will be happy until the ink is dry on the PW and we see the last of Tim waving goodbye on that ship he referred to years ago.

So the news today, is there is no news?

If it means top secret negotiations are happening, that's very good news :)

Ah daily article that fuels a rumour and puts it to bed in the same one.

"Did hoffman meet Seppalla?"
Answer in a nutshell without the crap = no.

TBF Nick there was a similar article in CET when rumour of the initial offer was around and Hoffman denied to the telegraph that anything was happening

I might move near the front next season so if the ball comes over I can chest it down and then with all of the free space around me I can do a volley straight to feet and then Robins will send somebody over to sign me up*

*Or I will not know what to do and probably go to catch it but fail under pressure, in which case he will still send somebody over to sign me up to go in goal.

I'd like to think Elliot had never deliberately done anything he through would be detrimental to the club. Think its more a case of him dealing with people above his level and being out manoeuvred.

Having said that I would prefer not to have him on the board or in a position of power / influence but I wouldn't have a problem with him having some sort of ambassadorial role going out in to the community and trying to bring local businesses back in as sponsors / advertisers.

I'm thinking of the leaked board meeting minutes where they talked about closing the Academy to save money. Both Joe and Gary were on the board then, Joe apparently raised the question of the PR aspect of this "and it is important that the correct message is received by fans."
Thankfully the Academy wasn't closed.

every time I see this thread bumped I get my hopes up.

I wouldn't bother, what was it Simon Jordan said about Sisu
"These guys are living in Narnia" and "riding the Hogwarts Express about what they think they can get for that club."

Looks like Ranson instigated it.
See attached file, sorry I don't know how to put it up in text.
