An update on Max. He does indeed finish all of his food but he won't let go of the ball and runs round & round the garden with it in his mouth, when he does decide to drop it we have a couple of nanoseconds to kick it for him or he just picks it up and runs off again.

Has he been neutered to make sure he's ineffective in the box as well?

Sounds like a typical springer. Lots of fun and endless energy.

What a great day yesterday was? Not only for the win at Rotherham but we adopted Max, a 3 1/2 year old Springer spaniel through Scottish Springer Rescue.

Well done on your decision to rescue. Make sure you start off with clear boundaries and give him plenty of time to settle in, you may not see the real him for a little while.

Be a good boy Max!
