It does not surprise me that the club has announced that the player of the year award will be held at the Britannia 3* hotel on Tamworth road, which is okay not flash, and will do the job but a million miles from what I would have thought the players would have expected as football stars
This follows on from the new retail shop 'a barrow in Tesco's' and of course not forgetting the great deal negotiated for rent for the last three games rumoured at £50, which must have been heavily subsidised by ACL/ Council another bargain, although they missed a trick as they should have asked ACL to throw in the player of the year award at the Ricoh to cement the £50 three-game deal.
If you want to go and see the academy play the young lads of our future, then make sure you have made a note as they have been thrown out of there fantastic facility at Higgs and moved to a new area sharing with the students but another great piece of business accruement as the students will kick the ball back when it goes on the road and that will definitely impress the Mums and Dads of the academy players who will know there sons are in great hands for the future and will be queing up to sign

Finally, If you want a ticket for the last game of the season, then ring the away club Nott's County, and they might be able to help as unfortunately our club do not seem to answer their phone.

We are a league one club with league one players. They don't deserve and the club cannot afford 5* treatment.

I also don't see what's wrong with the tesco barrow.

And the £50k per game deal was negotiated by the administrator not sisu or fisher.

Thread theme says 'Sign of things to come' just merely pointing this fact out as in my time with Cov not used to this sort of situation

The Cov mad site said £50000. Wasn't it just whoever typed it up here missing out a bit of formatting, as is per?

Thought it must have been a typo. £50k per match is very steep - £1.15m over 23 league games.

You should have seen the little carboot table outside the casino

it was cringingly embarrassing for a so called professional club

£50k for the three I'd have thought? Still pretty costly.

£50k a game would be £1.2m a year and sounds like the original rent!

£50k for 3 games would be £400k a year (24 games) and sounds like the "proposed deal"

£20k for 3 games would be £160k a year (24 games) an average rent

Earthling'borough charge £150 for 3 games games with a free packet of crisps!

:pimp:
