I've gained respect for him based on that article, it's fantastic that the Football family are willing to help us in our hour of need.
I wonder if scumberland would ever be so supportive, odds on them voting us in or out the league :smuggrin:

“Yes we are rivals, we want to beat each other and compete against each other but when it comes to football this area has a lot of history and looking after each other is a big part of that as well.

“I don’t know where those discussions are at, I don’t know what’s been talked about, if there are discussions of course I will delve a little bit deeper into that but I think the job of this area is to help, not just to watch a club like that struggle or possibly go out of existence.

“It can’t happen, I think we all have a duty as clubs in the Midlands to help each other out.”

Shame Coventry feckin' council doesn't take the same attitude!

Sisu will announce legals now dropped well lost again sign a deal before appealing again through the European court of appeal lol

From Cov Live;

Dr Stuart MacLennan, Senior Lecturer in Law and Research Development Director said: “The Court of Justice of the EU is not an appellate court, so it’s not possible to “appeal” this case to Luxembourg.

"The only way that domestic cases end up in the CJEU is through what’s called the preliminary reference procedure. This requires a domestic court to refer a question of EU Law to the Court. As there is no longer a live court proceeding then there can be no preliminary ruling.

This would suggest that the Supreme Court's decision means the end of the judicial review.

Well yes and no. It means the current case they’re are pursuing is finished. Can’t go to ECJ, however it doesn’t stop them with new domestic legals with a different stance on the case. Wasps know that and what they are asking is they ‘hope’ this is a watershed moment and the legals end to start talks.

This silence from Sisu could be them conjuring up a different approach to taking the council etc back into the court rooms.

There’s nothing positive from this until Sisu explicitly state they’re are done and would like talks with Wasps at staying at the Ricoh.

Interesting, but what about a Civil Court action, I wonder?

I am calm," he said.

"I think we need to be calm and everyone needs to remain calm and wait and see what happens.

“I am just excited by the future and what it can or could bring, potentially."

Does robins know something we don't?
I was thinking the same thing when I read this. Probably just by hope more than anything. Him and joy did have that meeting a few weeks back and apart from enjoying a lovely cream tea maybe she did spell out plans should the appeal be rejected?
