I loved that place. Great atmosphere most of the time....the problem being it could change at any moment. Also a good pub on route from the city centre to the game especially on a night game where you would follow the floodlights. Was a few times I had a spliff too many and gave up all thoughts of getting to the game.

Some great pics HH Brought back many good memories. One of them was the Mercers arms. Had been drinking occasionally in there for a few years. The gaffer said he had been told I wasn't old enough so I showed him my driving licence. It was my 18th birthday and was having my first legal pint. His face was a picture
