Eagles look like running away with the division though
So far.

I see Wendtz has pushed his luck a few times already. Should be more sacks against him. I think defences are going to smarten up. Maybe they will run away with it, but I would be surprised. They only beat the Skins narrowly and we were poor that day and there was also a dodgy call right there at the end where it seemed clear Cousins' arm was going forwards.

True.

I initially tuned in to their game as I thought the Cards would be a real challenge but they just blew them away. Expected the Giants to beat the Chargers too, it was at the MetLife and the Chargers are awful. Can't understand what is happening with them. Shame for them to lose Beckham :emoji_joy:

He is. A really rate him. Think he may well be the greatest of all time one day in the future, but he's not quite toppled Brady yet.

Also a shame to see him crying like a 6 year old girl. I am all one for sympathy, but when you go round giving it the big un all the time and shooting your mouth off and showing a lack of sportsmanship, it's hard to show a lot of care.

Indeed thats why the pundit.last night said brady will.go down as goat cos of the rings but rogers is better qb

And i agree
If I had a pound for every time you have said you have been proven right, yet are in fact wrong, I'd have about £6.50 by now. :)

So AR is a better QB than the greatest QB of all time but isn't the greatest QB of all time? I think your confused.

Its quite simple. In record books brady will.go down as goat. But in my and many others opinions rogers is better

Its a lot like the maradonna messi world cup debate.

I have no issue with people thinking brady is better. Its you and you only who tried to laugh at anyone who said rogers is in the conversation. And with every new pundit that echoes my comments you refuse to admit you were wrong to jump on me about rogers as if it was an outlandish thing to say

Sad. But true.

No more twisting. Respond to the above or leave it at that.

They have a lot to prove still, they've had a nice run of fixtures, the teams they have beaten for their four wins have a current record of 5-15 and they loss coming to the Chiefs.

They have a short week now playing @ Carolina on Thursday then the Redskins will be out for revenge the following week.

Yep, they haven't had too hard a run, Chiefs apart. Panthers will be a severe test.

We put this to bed months ago, 2 other people have said the same as me on this page alone but for some reason you feel the need to jump on me and drag up things that were said almost a year ago.

People don't want to read through all of that again so lets not bother. We will see what happens when he hangs up his cleats but for now he is one of the best throwers of the ball, a high risk high reward QB who is the flavour of the month currently, we will see in 5 years time if he is in the GOAT conversation, currently he's not even the greatest GB QB of all time if listening to pundits is your thing.

Lets hope you're right. I fancy the Skins to get a win against 49ers at home next weekend then to beat the Eagles in Philly would be amazing. A 4-2 record and it looks like a decent start.

The Top 10 Quarterbacks of All Time

A bit of lunchtime reading as you take what pundits and sports journalists say with such high regard.

As an aside, I've only recently got in to the sport. I really like the small divisional format, it always gives you someone to cheer for when your team isn't on as you want the other teams in your division to be beaten.

More than decent considering our fixtures, if Goodell would kindly activate Zekes suspension before our match up with Dallas Id fancy our chances of beating them twice without him.

Haha this is what i mean. I never said brady isn't up there. You laughed at AR being there though. You are a dumb fuck who said

*Rodgers wasnt best in world conversation
*Said gb wouldnt make playoffs
*thrn said would lose 1st gsme
*then said would lose first playoff game away

Wrong all accounts. You clearly have a anti gb bias as when gb eventually lost in semis you said he crashed and burned lmao

You dont kbow your nfl but keep watching noob
Maybe you will learn one day

IMO Brady is easily the GOAT, to be selected as a relative unknown in the sixth round to be a back up to Bledsoe and then getting lucky to get the starting job, to winning 5 rings with one team (a feat no one has ever matched) is truly incredible and will set him apart for years to come. Not only that but the fact that he is still doing it at 40 is astonishing. However he is currently not the best QB in the NFL, that is Aaron Rogers. The way the man extends plays, throws off either foot, manages to complete plays on such regular basis when falling down or in awkward positions. I mean his throw to Jared Cook last year in the divisional game was brilliant (something he repeated this week to his RB). Not only that he has the record for most successful Hail Marys thrown. The most impressive part of all of what Rogers does is that he does so with a poor supporting cast, he rarely has a fully fit receiving Corp to throw to and he has never really had a run game to support him. GB offence is Rogers throwing passes, the lack of a run game shouldn’t be underestimated. As a falcon fan I can attest to that, had Shananhan not got greedy and abandoned the running game we would have a Super Bowl win. The first half of the super bowl Matt Patrica and his Patriots D literally had no idea what we were doing per play and that’s something Rogers has missed now for many a year if he ever had it. Brady has always had that support.
Like I say though Brady will go down in history as the best but he is no longer the best in the league he is probably 2nd best but is edged out by the atlethism of Rogers who has the brains too.
On a side note how long Rogers will last at the top is also worthy of a debate as Alex Smith is looking nightly impressive this year as does Carson Wentz and rookie Deshaun Watson at Houston.

Watched NFL this week last night. Honestly this show gets better and better, could watch that and NFL show endlessly. The presenters have such good rapport, it can speak to new fans without patronising while still analysing games. Puts Match of the Day to shame.

Time to find out what the Eagles have got tonight. Lane Johnson will be a big miss for them, when he doesn't play Wentz gets hit, has the feeling of a right of passage game for Wentz

I hope Newton has as good a game as he did last week too. Really want to see the Eagles lose and the Skins win on sunday, would open the NFC east right up.

Yep. Let's see what the Eagles are truly made of. Stern test and hope they get pummelled.
