They also own Lazy Monkey in town and have recently opened the Hungry Elephant in the old Kings Head on Blackberry Lane.
The New Horseshoe is a bit spit and sawdust, you order at a hatch, no frills sort of place but the food and beer is excellent and the staff are excellent.
I’m heading to the new Dhillons bar later this afternoon, plus a few other places around Coventry/Earlsdon, with partner and two other couples.
Not been out in Cov (pre-Covid) for ages, looking forward to it. Despite the fact it’s a Wednesday I’m sure they’ll be loads of familiar faces around.

Mixed to be honest.
Set up was great, with the enclosed benches and heaters within each, and service was quick and efficient. But for a brewery owned bar there was only three Dhillons beers on, two of which were lagers.
So great location but anti climatic drink selection for ale lovers!

Been on a pub crawl started in Cherry Tree, then the Wheatsheaf, had a drink with Fred,then the Three Horseshoes, ended up in the Royal. Great night.
I'm on it tomorrow again. In the Royal I drank with a bloke who's 70 years old, hes been on it since 12 o'clock. The pub was mad. In the Wheatsheaf the Legion were in there.how come you're home so early you lightweight?

Sorry fell asleep. Big area out the back. There are tables and a tent but most just stood around in groups milling about. Great boozer but still a spit and sawdust pub. The Horseshoes was rammed, very lively.
Nah! Gotta be Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morrello. Just watch him as a guest onstage with Bruce Springsteen. Watch specifically from 6:45 minutes in. Try to follow his left hand! The guy is a guitar genius!
