Just want to check that the landlord's name isn't James Raffell? ;-)

Dhillions brewery running a coach now.
Think supply might exceed demand the way things are going!!

The one from Dhillons is probably the best deal going of all the coaches. The Nat Ex Daysaver is also a good option. It’s about 4 quid for adults and 3 quid for kids. That takes you from your front door and back. Drops off next to SA.

I'm all for supporting the Dhillon's brewery one. They are one of the local businesses that will be losing out because of the move to Birmingham. If you can, please consider using this over the Birmingham based pub.

The X1 goes from the Belgrade, out of the city up the Hollyhead Road, along the Cov Road and stops 5-10 mins walk from SA. A group Daysaver for 4 adults and 2 kids is £6 and can be used on any National Express Bus in Coventry and Birmingham.

By the looks of their twitter last season they also catered for the London franchise club every week. They won’t be losing out as much as pubs such as the wheatsheaf who purely relied on the footy because it was empty on rugby days

It’s sad so many businesses will lose out in this. It could result in job losses. I’m sure CCC will soon feel the effects of this when their income from business rates drops. I wonder if they’ll care then?

I’m sure the council know all of this but they’re happy as it’s a small price to pay if it means they haven’t got a big hefty fine to pay for giving illegal state aid to a rugby club from London.

They didn’t think twice about shafting the city’s football team, so I doubt they’ll lose any sleep over this.

How would this change the outcome of the EU investigation?

Do people even think before typing stuff or just find things to say based on how they feel?

Doesn't mean they won't feel the impact. If the wheatsheaf are offering a coach, then by all means use that too. Same principle applies.

It sounds bad - but we can put the Squeeze on the local area by not using the local amenities - I’m from holbrooks.

Maybe we can use businesses to put pressure to bring us back

I doubt it'll make a huge difference to them. It's a handful of businesses centred around the Ricoh. It's the small independent local businesses that will suffer the most.

I’d be more happy to support the Cov business if they made publicly clear to London Wasps that their position is hurting the local economy.

That's a daft idea
Not really. If they lose customers they can put the blame on the council and Wasps,

We need to put pressure on wasps and the council - the best way would be on the economy. Like I said collateral damage.

Labour aren’t getting voted out in Coventry - so let’s hit the council where it hurts

Pretty much like we the fans were

It makes you wonder why the local businesses didn't mention anything previously until we actually had to move?

It's all well and good them moaning now but why not say something beforehand? Why weren't they lobbying Duggins to help? After all, he was trying his hardest to keep an ALDI open when there's another one a mile down the road.

Exactly - if you want our business, should have helped keep us rather than sit by and watch us driven away.

I’d be more than happy to put money into the Roost as a show of “here’s what you could have had”
