Good to get the win overall, although it's a shame it was through penalties so we didn't get the full points. However, it's especially pleasing considering the number of changes to the team and the amount of academy players on show. In my eyes it's further proof we have one of the strongest squads in the league.

Promotion has to be our priority this year, however I'd love for us to progress - the two aren't mutually exclusive. Success is a positive, regardless of the competition, imagine experiencing Wembley again AND getting promoted. From a development sense it also gives the youngsters a chance to experience first team football.

Agree to be successful you have to have a winning mentality and desire to win every game and hopefully this will help us for our more important game on Saturday! Tonight Will boost the subs and back up's morale and confidence that when they get brought in to the team they can make an impact, which has to be a positive for the team and our ultimate goal of getting out of this bloody league immediately!!!

Yup, 2 and half hours can make all the difference in the world.

If I could get my 2 and a half hours back I wouldn't have gone out for that 'special meal' and asked my wife to marry me all those years ago.
I love it when you get all confuddled Otis. McDonalds call it a Happy Meal not a 'special meal' and I hate to break it to you but that toy ring inside was not legally binding.

just watched extended highlights(without knowing score),was very exciting!

seemed a really good performance, lots of positives

-ponticelli scored
-mcnulty and vicente returned
-camwell looks a talent
more game time for stevenson
-LOB made some cofnidence boosting pen saves

yes we conceded 2 and once again in checkatrade a last min goal but the pen was just silly and we wont do that much in future(i hope)

lets win this thing!

i want to make it to the knockouts, i want to win it again! another wembley date this time without pressure of ending trophy doubt would be very fun in its own way

last year was the start,we need to continue building a culture of winning

yes promotion is priority but if our fringe players can make it as far as possible then that will be brilliant. we could end up ruing that last min crawley fk but for now lets pray we beat wba and walsall lose to shrews in normal time.

and what happens if he doesn't score in 3 games, critised as much as Biamou is ?
No not at all,But he needs to start v Forest green at least,If he scores a few it might wake the others up a bit!!

and if he doesn't score ?. We have a talent and need to make sure he isn't thrown in and exposed.

I'm not sure we are currently set up to get the best out of players like Jordan and its unfair to expect too much of him

Still not worth 90 mins then mate,With our prolific strikeforce?
Proper called me out 14 days later.

I think we have an attacking problem, not a goalscoring problem. Everyone bleats on about how good he is at finishing but how many clear cut chances have we fluffed due to shit finishing in the last 3 or 4 games? I didn't watch the last two so can't comment, but I can't remember too many from Barnet Crewe or Swindon. There we a couple but the biggest problem for me is creating any chances in the first place.

I think we are missing Andreu more than we are Ponticelli.

You are right to a point, but a striker also needs to be in the right places to receive a through ball or a pass standing still behind the midfield doesn't count.
Everyone needs to help everyone else.

How many through balls have we tried but not came off because striker wasn't on the same wave length? Has it happened a lot where doyle or kelly have been actively looking for a pass forward but noone moved and they got tackled? From what I've seen they just lump it forward aimlessly or they pass it backwards at every opportunity.
