Pleased for him and well deserved but could mean two extra matches. One against Latibeaudiere and possibly Palmer, the other against Obikwu!

So if Sargent has withdrawn injured surely tht means he is injured for Norwich? If he plays for Norich having withdrawn injured, that should be against the rules. Cheating basically.

His “injury” is “ankle irritation” which basically means he’s got an itchy foot. I doubt it would take much to heal from such an affliction.

Shouldn't do.
If they beat Jamaica they’ll play again at 1:15am on the 25th our time. Huddersfield is on the 29th. Not super ideal with all the travelling but would assume he’d at least be able to play. Same situation with Latibeaudiere and Palmer as they will play 3rd place play off if they lose to the US.

Palmers suspension if for the cup game, so would still be eligible for Huddersfield on the Friday
Yeah, but it’s one less fixture he’ll have to play going forward. Plus him and O’Hare will rotate. Wright needs to play as much as possible.

Yes we really don't have any cover for Wright and he is such an important player. I am pleased he is getting the recognition but would rather he didn't have these two extra games.

I think none of the 3 will start on Friday at Hudds as we've got another game on the Monday so we'll rotate/use the squad a bit anyway.
Who would you play in place of Wright against Huddersfield? Tavares?

If not presumably we'd need to play Sheaf, Eccles, Kelly and Torp with O'Hare, if no Palmer or Latibeaudiere.

Wright-ly so.

Also, that Brendan Aaronson’s brother Paxten is a heck of a player. Seems a similar type of AMF as O’Hare.
Wonder if he’d fancy it in England?

Currently on loan at Vitesse, but a player like that could really flourish over here. With us, of course. ⚽️

Not necessarily what/who I would play but wouldn't be surprised if Da Silva starts in place of Wright. O hare in for Palmer and Torp or Binks in for Lati depending on the formation we go for.
Ultimately we should have enough to beat Huddersfield with 2 or 3 changes if we want to make the play offs.

Glad for Hadji but more pressure on our squad. Need for our second choice players to really step up now.

Doesn't really matter, losers will have to play another match as well as there is a 3rd place play-off.
We can’t really afford to rest Haji re Huddersfield, be great next year to have EMC in that position also

o hare will come in for Palmer

problem is I really like us playing 4/3/3 but if you want to rest Lati Milan drops back one and Tavares starts.

Be interesting how the gaffer plays it re formations for certain matches and whether he chops and changes.

Agree - he looks like an O'Hare type. Under contract with Frankfurt until 2027, so likely to cost a few ££££s ?
Oh really? 2027…they obviously recognise his potential as well.

May be a bit beyond our financial ‘clout’, then.

Paxten is just plain wrong. Unless he changes his name to Paxton, we don't want him.

It's akin to Lee with three E's.
