Currently stood trying to get a beer watching for the Seattle Dragons....

The standard is better then I expected but hasn’t got the gloss the NFL has live.

Plus watching any NA sport other then hockey is annoying as you have to get up 30 times as 75% of people don’t really “get” live sport!

Anyone invested in this?

From what I've seen it's surprisingly good. Don't know if it'll keep up but it looks as though they've learned from the first attempt and decided to avoid any wrestling gimmicky crossover and just market an alternative league

Meant to be a good watch as well. Any major differences with NFL rules?

If it can survive (all the other versions haven't) it has some positives.
If teams can establish themselves and build squads could improve. Don't think anything is going to work if you have wholesale changes in personnel every season.
Like the quicker play clocks.
Catch rules are interesting.
Kick off and punt rules have potential.
Point after rules a bit too gimmicky.

Watching now, but a bit disappointed it is all the same cities again pretty much. Would be great to see some franchises without an NFL team already.

Think there is only St. Louis without a team isn't there.

Guess it’s the easiest transition to an established football market. Imagine if this season goes well they will add teams and pay better salaries.
When I got there they gave everyone a team sheet and a terrible towel which was a nice touch.

Wouldn't you have preferred a much nicer towel instead?

How entertaining is it compared to the CFL?

I'm enjoying it. Haven't watch Canadian football for years.

Is it shown anywhere in the UK I wonder.

Does the end zone still stretch from Montreal to Ottawa?

I struggle to watch the CFL or the MLS for that matter both feel way too slow. Just like the fact in the XFL they walk you through contentious decisions step by step. They did the right thing not trying to rival the NFL.

Vince McMahon is having a great week, first this and now currently firing all his wrestlers and then there's a documentary about the time he helped hush up a murder.

Yeah, it's called Dark side of the ring on Vice channel. They've got one coming up about Owen Hart,so he should come off great there too, continuing a show in a ring they just had to clear a dead body from
