I doubt there will be any pictures online from our Scunthorpe game will there? It's definitely less than our fa cup game of 9k by a chunk.

By the ground just after was dead, nobody walking about, nobody at tesco.

The Telegraph normally put a load of pics up don't they? Not sure how easy it is to navigate back to past games.

Not too different at all really! Certainly hundreds difference rather than thousands.

Looks worse than a Tuesday night early round JPT game. Sure Italia will be on later to tell us it was a huge success and there was definitely 10K there.

You'll need to see the west stand match photos to understand why the attendance was 10,000.
That's where the majority of season ticket holders are.

Mind you I bet 6 people have blurry eyes trying to count the crowd from the photos. LMFAO

Found this, plus a couple of 100 Scunthorpe fans not seen in the shot. No way is that a 3,500 difference.

The West stand is empty there and no corporate top end.
Why increase the crowd with the tax implications?

Oh hang on. They need to do it because SkyBlueTalk SWAT squad are pressurising them

To create the illusion they have people interested in watching Wasps and that the move is a success when the reality is there crowds are diminishing at an alarming rate.

Wasps will now probably announce 12k, italia will be smug about it and we will all be left bemused on how they reached that attendance figure.
Well they didn't say 12k but I almost got it right.

If that was 10k then the new Ricoh capacity must be 45k

What tax implications would it have if the increased crowd was freebies?

Hold on. You were bragging they had sold all the corporate seats and accused me of lying when I said free ones were being dished out.

So now you admit it's you that is a liar.

That would be the west stand thats opposite the TV cameras. So the stand people were looking at then taking the piss on twitter about all the empty seats.

Watched them come from 27 pts down and there was still more atmosphere on the moon.
Can't wait untill the returns on the bonds are due.

So your saying the corporate seats were all full in the West stand - that's odd I know someone who went and said it was very quite.

But you say every seat on both levels was full? Are you sure?

Where did I say every seat was full ?

Who is this 'someone' that gives you free tickets and feeds you the missing information but never gives you any evidence to back it up.

Is it your alter ego ?

So what would be the point of expanding the crowd then ? I'm confused.

PR and ego - even the "official" figure was almost the lowest crowd of the fixtures on Saturday.

The biggest club in Europe tag looks pretty dumb when actually they have the lowest fanbase.

Still, the charade cannot last forever. The associations that received freebies last year are al being e mailed with offers again. Many offered freebies can't be bothered to go as it's so empty and souless.

In two years they will be a laughing stock - rattling round in a huge stadium with 4-5,000 fans. It's interfering that someone on the wasps forum said that at Wycombe they did the same tactics and felt the true fanbase there was around 2,000

Soon they won't even be able to fill the Butts.

Half the piss-poor crowd were probably only there to see Echo and the Bunnymen anyway.

Yep on a subsidised deal.

Italia really has fallen in love with someone he shouldn't have.

I need to spend my money on something. Got more coming in than going out since they arrived.

It sounds like you had more going out prior to this, so I would pay off the debt first, before you start getting all extravagent ;)

Sadly my daughter went yesterday, although I didnt buy the ticket, she went with friends. She is only 11 so is at an age where she will give an honest unbiased opinion.

She said it was quiet, little atmosphere and its not as interesting or entertaining as the football. I know a few younger supporters who have echoed this opinion. I was proud that she would rather watch CCFC everytime, and on the Rugby front much prefers the lively, full and more friendly atmosphere at Franklins Gardens (The Saints)

I am no fan of Wasps but didnt want to influence her judgement but was pleased with what she said.

Whilst I think Wasps may have won some local fans round at present, I think they have misjudged the appeal that they thought they would have in the locality. Not only are their attendances dropping at present but they appear to have made little or no impression on many local youngsters who will not be their fans of the future.

I wonder where they think their future fans will come from, as at present it dosnt look very rosy.
