I can live with the goal not being given, that wasn't an easy call imho. The handball just before it was slightly clearer I thought, and I'm more surprised that was missed.

However there's no excuse for missing that leg-breaking tackle in the first half, I think even the player himself expected to walk.

I'm not advocating crowding around the ref, but I'm disappointed that our lads weren't right in McAveley's (?) face. That was a thuggish, brutal tackle and at least one or two of our lads should've been around him and loudly threatening to knock his head off for it. That might have helped the ref come to the right decision.

To be clear I'm not talking about gamesmanship here, I'm talking about sticking up for your mates on the pitch. We look a bit weak in that front on today's evidence.

Idiotic. What mistakes did he make then?
I reckon he made 3. Are they the same 3 as yourself?

Red card instead of yellow first half.

Penalty for Vincelot instead of a foul the other way

And

Second yellow for Hammond in the second half.

He couldn't have given the goal or handball pen, cos that was down to the assistant.

What about the one on.vincelot and the one on Martin?
The one on Martin wasn't so obvious, so I understand that, but he bottled the Vincelot one I think. He turned to see the tussle and just decided to err on the side of caution and give the free kick to the side defending.

Why did the ref check to see if Bruno was ok before making his decision? Sort of spelt out that if his leg was shattered he would have been given a red. Seemed to get a yellow on the back of him being ok
Yep agree.

If the injury had looked worse I'm sure he would have given a red.

The more I watch the more incensed I am. I don't think I could have controlled myself and would have been sent off punching the sheff Utd guy

When Vincelot or Vancelot as the commentator liked to call him was pulled down then the ref gave the foul the opposite way I was gob smacked and let out a few Ffff's so I blame the referee for making me blaspheme on the sabbath as well

I think for the Vincelot penalty he blew the whistle and thought shit what do I do now it's in the box ah free kick to the defender, he was truly awful the tackle on Rubén was horrific and that sort of behaviour will only stop big clubs loaning players to this level so the fan misses out (I know he is our player)

He is French. Their words aren't pronounced how they look in English. Eg Thiery Henri is pronounced Honri.

come on Williamson, man up, let's hear publicly the reasons for an astonishingly poor set of decisions,
ah but no, you'll just hide behind the ref's silence rules,
imho, your performance was lower than a snakes belly

That tackle had me thinking back to the days of Chopper Harris Norman Hunter and our very own GC
Just shocking that a red wasn't the outcome in the modern game.

Got to say, I've got respect for the players. In the face of that joke yesterday, I'd have walked off and told him I'll come back when he can guarantee my safety on the pitch.

Same with Mogga. Don't think anyone would have been surprised if he'd been on the pitch at the end of the game having a pop at the game or giving him a proper dressing down in his post match interview. As annoying as the refs performance was its probably a good thing the players and manager aren't as worked up as we are.
