Obviously the CET do have an agenda. It is beyond doubt they have harboured a grudge for some time and have sided with the council and Wasps.

The problem I have is that I remember when it had real Sports journalists like Neville Foulger who produced match reports and build up articles that were actually worth reading.

Now we have a few toe the line jobs worths who just make a living by copying and pasting other articles, or in this case actually starting a rumour that never existed.

The trust should urge all it's members to boycott purchasing it and also to not log into the website as well as writing a formal letter of complaint to the HQ and advise that the policy persued is costing revenue.

Let's see what Poole and co print then.

The unions representing staff at Trinity Mirror (including the Telegraph) are currently in dispute with the company because they are changing journos' contracts such that they are required to increase the digital hit rate for their "articles". Failure to do so will result in the wonderful HR term "performance management", and ultimately see them out the door.
What this means is that you will see more and ever more articles which purport to be news, but are no such thing, and have cleverly-written headlines that entice people to click on them. There are very few journalists actually doing any journalism, rather than just clicking on various news agency websites. Even the BBC (gawd bless 'em) are guilty of using the Daily Mail as the starting point for many of their pieces on 5live breakfast, for example.

I've noticed that the advert clicking areas also 'accidentally' cover headlines quite a lot of the time too. I'm sure it's a genuine error.

Might be a design flaw or it's not formatted correctly for the screen size. I was in Argos the other day attempting to return something someone had taken off their Christmas list. The tablet they now have instead of a physical catalogue was sorta working except that there was a problem. Whenever you pressed the screen a message popped up saying that hardware key has been disabled in this configuration. When I spoke to a staff member about it he said that they knew about the problem. I pointed out that it was hard to type N, B, C, V, space etc. as this is where the message came up, covering the keyboard. He just shrugged and walked away.

Sorry that does read as a bit of a rant but I had stood for some time buying the item initially from Argos. Then to have to go back, return it and get something else because they've bought it themselves is a tiny bit frustrating.

i agree but I think a lot of the Coventry public don't buy it anyway as its crap and most clicks probably come through here.
their web pages are almost unreadable with all the shite and flash software coming through.

I don't even think TM was in the running. Just the telegraph again!
