Or until it's a play off final.

I can't see it being 20k, I think maybe 15k but hopefully more.

I'm sure there's some truth in that.

The way they've been treated would be my guess.

Yes and I agree with them. But with the team now back in Coventry, the best manager in the league and a young exciting performing squad. What's the point holding a grudge? I was one of those badly treated fans and I didn't go Northampon but that madness has ended.

Time to move on for all concerned.

Fair comments.

14,750. Win that game and the crowd against Burton will be huge.

If your predictions are correct - however, I suspect they won't be, it will be a travesty to fall below 20000 + an absolute travesty !
How can it fall below 20000+ when we haven't had a crowd that big yet.

Alot of young kids miss these games on school nites.
Also difficult for far away fans.

Anything over 14k is decent IMO

I'm saying it would be a travesty not to achieve 20000 for these two particular games.
Oh ok but still can't see it for the Walsall game.
Shame it's not this week while the 5-0 is still ringing in everyone's ears.

Exactly. that 0-5 drubbing should have everyone dying to get to the next game.

We have as far as I can remember had poor home support, it went downhill when Highfield Rd went all seater, but we still have a strong away support, that's the way it is I'm afraid, I used to get wound up with friends and family who are city fans who go one week but not the next because for instance they let in last minute goal the week before or there gonna go to the Tip on Saturday afternoon, just have to face it Cov fans are very fickle

I honestly don't believe there are any real City fans (yeah I pulled the real fan card) who are still staying away.

If you don't go now, this season, with this team and this manager, then you are not a CCFC fan. End of. This is once in a lifetime shit.
What, every game? Or you mean at all?

Many will come back game by game as we impress results wise. Many were hurt and can't be bothered but when you see those results and know its a game of significance then you tend to have your mind changed. The missing fans will return as we get better and have a real chance of promotion. As many have said its been a long time since we had anything to shout about.
I think we can expect in excess of 16k and I would be hoping 17 or 18k. I really hope so because from where we have come from since TM's arrival is quite remarkable.

25k minimum stadium. Unless we have no intention if competing in the championship.

Anything less than 14k would be disappointing I think.

Think it'll be 15k though. Hoping for a least 17k for Burton if we beat Walsall!

At all. If you're still blaming the owners for not attending. Obviously everyone has reasons for not attending, I've missed games this season. I don't have a ST because I wasn't sure if I'd go. I don't mean that, just those still saying "I'll go when Sisu leave".

Check my post history, I'm one of Sisu's biggest critics. But the fact is that a lot of what we criticise them for has changed. We are in Cov. We have a competitive team. We are playing attractive football. We have improved the match day experience. We have kept prices down. We've ever made noises about maybe possibly giving up the whole new stadium charade.

Yes we're still owned by cunts. Yes they acted despicably. Yes they should pay. But right now they ain't going anywhere and no fucker is going to stop me from seeing the most successful and exciting team in my supporting career.

I think our crowds this season have been very good considering everything that has gone on with this club over the last 5-10 years.

To put it into perspective, Leicester averaged just under 18,000 for their one-season stay in League 1 during the 08/09 season (in which they were 1st from November '08 onwards), and I think it would be fair to say Coventry fans have been through a hell of a lot more sh** than they did/have.

I'm hoping for 14-15k vs Walsall.

Leicester averaged 20,253 that season.

Thats what swear words are for. Language entirely appropriate for the situation. Apologies if you are of a sensitive disposition.

Midweek matches tend to attract lower crowds. As others have said it is more difficult for fans living away from Coventry to attend and there must be less young kids as well due to school the next day. Attendances often dip in January as well, presumably because everybody is skint.

However, given the season we are having and the magnitude of the match I would expect to see around 13-14k City fans plus Walsall.

If we win it I would be very hopeful of 18K City fans for the Burton game. I will be there regardless!

Didn't realise you could make a career out of supporting City :) Sounds better than my current job.

Read too much bickering on here about who are the real fans and similar bullshit topics. Tony Mowbray summed it up when asked on ccfcplayer if he was disappointed with attendances a few weeks back. He said that it's not for him to tell people what to spend there hard earned cash on. That they are in the entertainment business and they have to put out a product that people want to watch. I think he is doing this brilliantly. It's up to people to chose if they want to go or not. Personally, right now, I think it's the best value for money entertainment in town, and for that, Mr Mowbray deserves lots of credit. Sisu are still there and they've messed up big time but if your still staying away because of them then you're biting your nose off to spite your face.

Agreed. I hate SISU but since our return to Coventry they have ran the club sensibly and have achieved a lot. Just wish they would stop all the courtroom stuff and stop bullshiting us about the mythical stadium.

I'll settle for TF being sacrificed and then I can start to build bridges with Sisu.
Can't stand the pompous dullard.
