I'm coming to this one, as it's a midweek game and struggle with working weekends, and in bringing my sister and niece and nephew, I believe it's my sisters first game and it's also my nieces first game! I managed to convert my nephew from a Chelsea fan to a cov one, god knows how I did. (If you don't count brainwashing )

I would be astonished if it's anymore than 15,000 too many simply don't give a $¥%#

Read too much bickering on here about who are the real fans and similar bullshit topics. Tony Mowbray summed it up when asked on ccfcplayer if he was disappointed with attendances a few weeks back. He said that it's not for him to tell people what to spend there hard earned cash on. That they are in the entertainment business and they have to put out a product that people want to watch. I think he is doing this brilliantly. It's up to people to chose if they want to go or not. Personally, right now, I think it's the best value for money entertainment in town, and for that, Mr Mowbray deserves lots of credit. Sisu are still there and they've messed up big time but if your still staying away because of them then you're biting your nose off to spite your face.

I've supported city since 74, i don't attend as many matches as i used too. Because under SISU with there policy of selling anything of value (for less than it!!) moving us out of Coventry, losing the very stadium built for us and generally running this beautiful club into the ground. But mostly because during this period, they sucked the love out of it for me i hated football, hated they way we played and felt embarrassed and ashamed. I go to matches now and slowly (though this is picking up speed rapidly) my love affair with CCFC is returning, SISU are still here, but i appreciate what i am seeing now, what we have become. I doubt i will ever trust them or forgive them, but i am returning. I personally think most are the same, not staying away because of the owners, but because the love was lost and it takes time to return. I am travelling from Lincoln for this game, should be a cracker. PUSB

Bringing a mate along to this one after raving about how well we are playing this season to him. Hopefully a repeat performance of the Gillingham game will persuade him to turn up more often. Although I'd be ecstatic with a dull and boring 1-0 win!

Great comment all round

What's mad, if only half the regulars this season could persuade 1 person to go back and give it a go, there's 20k, if all done it you're struggling to get in.

If their isn't 17,000 next week it'll be a travesty
We have 2 games in a week and a lot of people won't go to both so I'd be amazed if either are over 15000 especially with the away followings they will bring, I can see both Burton and Walsall not bringing more than 700

Yes 2 big games. Probably biggest of the season. That week will more than likely make or break our chances of automatic promotion.

My cousin works behind the scenes at CCFC, their projection for the Walsall game is 19,500 if sales continue at the rate they are going at the mo.

Should we beat Walsall he reckons there will 23,000'there. Attendances are starting to get there gradually.

We can dream a little can't we! His estimations seem just a tad .... errmm .... let's be polite and say, ambitious though don't they.

I will be utterly shocked (but delighted) if the crowds are close to those projections.
