He has seen in all before, I am not panicking.

The strong finish will start mid feb I reckon.

Anyone else fancy us for a storming charge mid feb and a 1st place finish?

We'll still be in the mix come April. I fancy us for automatic promotion too. I still haven't seen anything to tell me that we aren't one of the best two sides in this division.

It's possible but I'm not banking on it by any stretch of the imagination. Either way it's still not the doom and gloom many are seeing it as. I'd have took challenging for a playoff place before the season started and because I don't have an issue with short term memory I can see how much we've improved from last season and I'm grateful for that and that's more than good enough.

We are all bitterly dissapointed from the recent run of games. But having just heard TM post match interview on cov n war radio.

I just want to say in TM we trust. You just gotta love his honesty and post match appraisals. Does he get things wrong...yeah he does. But he gets a lot more right than wrong.

I have the upmost respect for the dude. And shame on anyone who doesn't see how lucky and fortunate we are. He's brought our love back for the football club.

Yes definitely we can still win this league. Starting the run next week by smashing Scunthorpe.

To right .it's amazing how many people have forgotten just how far we've come in such a short period of time.

Perhaps because I'm 60, getting battered by Southend, Burton, Northampton etc and remembering 'where' we have come from, statements like 'how far we have come' does not feel right.

I think because we know how good we can play when everything just clicks we get disappointed when we dont perform. How unlucky we've been in some games, I think the standard of refereeing has a part to play in this. I think you could agrue the team lacks physicality because every side ive seen turn up to the ricoh this year has been taller and bigger than us.
I still feel due to the quality of the side we deserve at least play offs. And that will be an achievement in itself considering it went down to the final game to decide if we're going down or staying up last season.
Bit of wake up call these last 3 games will be.
I think the funds that are so called available to TM if the right players are found need to be spent on two players. A proper centre half and a proven forward. SISU have to gamble and put the money up. Best position we've been in, in years! We dont go up this season and i can see the lure of the championship to TM and a few players may be too much and we could loose them over the summer. I could be wrong and if it don't happen he stays loyal, but when offered the extra money and budget to spend in the summer i can see him going

Best position we've been in for years....no complaints. Every team goes through a slump in the season. Burton, Walsall and Gillingham have theirs to come. Top two a real possibility along with Wigan is my thinking!

We have no chance of autos unless individual errors get sorted , that's the reality

Cloud Cuckoo land to think there won't be errors. That's the reality!!!

I go to every single match , and frankly the amount of errors is ridiculous , so no it's not cloud cuckoo land it's reality , WE are throwing matches away , and if we don't stop that we don't go up .

Of course there will be, as there is with any team. We just have to try and keep them to a minimum.

Ricketts' clearance was charged down yesterday. These things happen. What we can concentrate on though is the ridiculous mistake goals such as the Phillips one against Burton, or the one with Fleck against Doncaster after RCC gave him a ball in a dangerous area.

All teams make mistakes, but we have made some really, really preventable ones, where a bit more care would have stopped the goals from happening.

Ricketts took too long to clear , took the extra couple of seconds and lost it ,basically his own fault

Agreed...but no need to panic as seems the case with so many on here who have very short memories...

Yes, but it wasn't a mistake that can be compared to the Phillips one, or the Fleck one, or the RCC one against Sheff Utd. Those were glaring errors.

Don't think you can label Ricketts' mistake yesterday as a glaring error. Yep, he probably took too long on the ball, but that ball from that charge down could have gone anywhere.

The Phillips one, the Fleck one and the RCC one all came from very, very bad judgement and were completely preventable.

I can agree with that

This league is going the same way as last season. Apart from Bristol City the rest are dropping points all over the place, l count yesterday as just that dropping 3 points we have the squad, we are to recruit, we are well in the mix and our next 8 matches will indicate where we are going promotion wise. None of those 8 games are against any top teams and our rivals all play each other, doesn't make things easy but if we are not seriously in the mix come March it will be our fault

I thought the second goal against Burton was a series of glaring errors.

There were a number of errors. None as bad as that first goal though, where Phillips gave the ball on a plate to the Burton player in our own six yard box.

But the collectiveness makes it worse for me. More opportunity to prevent it. At 1-0 we were still in it. The second put us on our arse.

My worry is if we don't achieve anything this year than influential players will be going back ie Armstrong, Murphy etc and then we are back to square 1. I guess that's the trouble with the loan market though.

I cant say that I am filled with confidence. Even I know that if you have quick players you defend deep and press the player on the ball. We are very one dimentional and if we are watched by opponents they have us sussed.

We need a target man up front alongside Armstrong that can hold it up and bully a few defenders IMO.

I thought MAF would be that man but it's not working. To be fair to him, playing 15 mins here and there isn't going to help personal form.

It's amazing we are still in touch bearing in mind the run we are in, the only thing that concerns me now is no information is coming out about how far Willis and Aaron Martin are from coming back! Why does'nt he play the new guy at right back the guy is very experienced and I know he his still getting match fit but for Christ sake he is named on the bench I am sure he could last 45 minutes and he could move Ricketts back into the centre where he is more comfortable
