i could be wrong but when wasps are being discussed solely for there match etc do they mention the city every opportunity?
to many times the city coverage / phone is either advertising wasps / talking about wasps etc...isnt the cwr skyblues highlighted in one of their jingles as the only place you will get nothing but a 100% skyblues discussion and match coverage?

its bad enough they mention nuneaton et al :)

Only listen to about 15/20 minutes preamble and the match commentary every week and haven`t noticed much mention of wasps at all, but if the phone ins for the Sky Blues are as bad as many of you often complain about why don`t you ring in and have your say?

I suppose it`s scant comfort but at least we haven`t (apart from the Crewe game) been getting that irritating "loving every sky blues goal" jingle very much recently.

Without wanting to awake a beast, I'm not surprised they were giving updates about the wasps given the situation, its not every day you hear the wasps as frequently mentionned.

I know most people here wont know or care but the game was pretty important within the rugby following world. Its effectively the champs league for rugby union, and a win with particular circumstances made them qualify through the groups into the knockouts I believe, ended up topping the group. (my sister was there).

I fully appreciate the distaste many have for Wasps having moved here, but for the city of Coventry to have any sports team being successful in a major European competition is a big deal for the City, we haven't exactly been blessed with sporting achievement outside of a decent ice hockey team 5 or 6 years ago. Yes the phone in should be for the Sky Blues, but updates from that particular game surely aren't that much of an issue?

But if you wanted to know what was going on in the Wasps match that was covered on the DAB feed which was also available via iPlayer. The CCFC coverage was only available on FM and for those who have paid for it on the clubs website.

If you cared that much you would be listening to them on DAB, watching them on TV or going to watch them at the Ricoh?
