Perhaps they are the best options available. Rose is long term and I suspect Bigi will be in the summer. Hunt is a quick way of bringing in energy, versatility and experience. Cole likewise and may draw fans and boost revenue.

Lorentzson could be longer term if we get promotion.

Players have to be available and secondly want to join the club. Fans seem to have the attitude think of a player and sign them.

Yes I know Lorentzson is a defender but I think it is a nod to a two phase building programme short and long term.

Yeah he was. Don't get the obsession with him. Did OK in a shite team at centre back but was one of the worst right backs we've ever have had.

Everyone was slating Pressley for playing right back and then was lauded for moving him to centre back, now some want him to come back at right back. Strange.

i think Pennington is coming back. He will play CB alongside Martin with Willis (when fit) and Ramage as back up. Rickets at RB with Lorentson as back up and Stokes at LB with Haynes as back up. Philips will go out on loan. I have heard to Northampton.

Very true and the exact same applies to when things go right. Just because we beat Crewe 5-0 did not mean our fundamental weaknesses ceased to exist. That is why you need a good manager to assess each performance and determine if the players and tactics are worth pursuing or not.

Get real at right back he was poor. He was ok at centre back but no great shakes really - don't get the obsession

He looked good at centre half but surrounded by some of that rubbish last year many players would look good.

Well D-Day is tomorrow.

Can't see us signing any perm players. Mogga already stated this. Said it will be loans.

Although worryingly he seems to have missed players at he start of last week and towards the end.

The way current signings are working out, it may be good they wont be permanent.
I still say we need to look in the lower divisions and find a couple more Stokes.
Players who will battle for us and give it 100%.
