On his day, Freddy is possibly one of our most gifted players. Having been given a "wake up" call by AT's actions in recent weeks, anyone else think he should be given a second chance ?

Whilst we are paying his wages yes, if his attitude was right then he should be in our team or at least making other players fight for a spot.

He seems happy to sit on his arse getting fat at the club's expense while the kids are working their balls off & battling relegation, so I say fuck him. Makes Julian Joachim look industrious.

clearly we are in desperate times !

Mixed feelings on this one.

Firstly I cannot understand the almost suicidal and rapid demise of FE when arguably he is probably the most naturally gifted player on the books.

That attacking diamond position is his for the taking when all others have failed due to injury, loss of form or suspension.

He will (hopefully) be allowed to operate through the middle using his two footed shooting prowess and his positional awareness.

So I for one say yes, give the guy another chance only because there is nothing left in the CCFC locker ref options in players and playing formations.

Second chance? Wasn't that about 2 years ago? We must be on to his 5th by now!

Don't get me wrong, I liked Freddy. But there's only so much you can do for one player without giving up.

Freddy was a lost cause last season (if not before). He's not part of our future in whatever division that may be. AT should continue developing the youngsters if he can't get a loan player in to operate as a goal scoring mid fielder. Freddy can no longer be considered a striker - he's too slow. Good riddance - been here too long and never performed with any consistency under any manager and in any role.

He's not interested, too slow, too fat. He's had three years and done nowt. Wasted talent, but he's not the first or last to have that accolade. I would'nt bother with him anymore.

No he is not worth another go. He has had since the summer to get fit and its now November.

So pretty pointless post to be honest.

I've lost count of the amount of times I've heard about his supposed ability and that he'll eventually 'come good'.

Wouldn't say it was pointless though as has been pointed out, these are desperate times. It's never going to happen I think while Thorn's here, but I can see why we would at least consider it.

I have a small feeling there's been a problem between them two or other members of the squad, don't get me wrong he's hardly a world beater but he's a mile ahead of bell baker and on his start cody!

well he has to be be better than the spineless attack available, mcdonald and o donovan are clearly not upto this level, why not give freddy at least one more chance

Why not give McDonald a first chance? You seem to have ruled him out already and yet want Freddy Eastwood to have his 34th crack of the whip.

if he's professional enough, he will get off his arse and show the football world what he's made of. There is a opening for him if he can.
