Are the SCG still going been very quiet lately?
I have put a couple of questions I want asking.

Could you not just ask people you know on the SCG to ask direct? ;)

Or have you just bought an upgraded reel?

SCG? Is that the Sisu Court Goons? There used to be a group using that acronym that represented supporters' interests, I think that failed long ago despite the efforts of Steve Brown, Kev Monks, Jan Mokrzycki, CJ and a few others. :sarcasm:

Sadly just like the Sky Blue Tits who send round emails spinning for the council.

I've lost count of the amount of meetings I've attended but unfortunately I've never seen a pair of those on display. Maybe you visited Heat rather than the Squirrel by mistake.

I'm quite fond of Blue Tits, a bird that sings well and does no harm. Unlike the Vultures associated with our football club.

Also let's not forget two turkeys don't make an eagle.

I think I may have been mistaken in my post#3 above: in La-La Land, wasn’t the SCG the abbreviation for the imaginary Stadium Curtain Gurus led by the equally fictitious voice-of-the-fans, SandyGhastly? ;)
Whatever happened to them? and her?

That was the stadium group wasn't it?

Amazing how people always ask what it is, but they quite clearly know ;) They are mates with people so would just need to turn to them and say "Can you ask this" or "What is going on". Obviously a reason behind the thread ;)

As for the nice singing birds, I didn't realise Weber Shandwick allowed pets in their office. :p:D

Surely, always a reason behind all threads (at least in the mind of the OP)! ;)

Well yes, but surely he could have just asked people who he knows who are on the SCG. ;)

Don't get me wrong, he can post what he wants. Just think there is a story behind it...

I have no doubt about it. I am sure we will all find out soon.

I'd personally like for it all to be ripped up and started again with people we can all relate to. It should be "elected" or people put forward as a "voice / rep" for each different "sector" of fans.

When the Trust set it up that's what it was intended for and how it was meant to be.

Totally agree with that Nick. I'm sure that a great many fans would support that viewpoint (I hesitate to talk about a majority, given our ability as City Fans to have polarised views on most subjects).

Currently, it seems that most of the group are largely unrepresentative of anyone but themselves, though I don't question that they are genuine supporters.

I always see it as a way to get feedback back to the club. It should be for example if a disabled fan is having loads of issues with access, it gets fed back etc.

That would be fine if it was truly representative, but it isn't is it, as far as I can see it was selected to be relatively complaisant and an attempt to manoeuvre SBT 'troublemakers' into resigning failed.

I can see it from both sides, with Supporters Direct working with the Council's PR company I can see why the club / SISU are a bit twitchy with some people.

Not a fan of fan power are you, so do you subscribe to Grendelnomics, smaller stadium & higher prices to keep the hoi poloi out.

No but I can just understand why the club might not want to work with certain people if they have been plotted against them with PR companies.

I'd agree with a shake up of it all, a fresh start. Anderson is new, start from scratch and do it properly.

Why just tell me what anybody with any agenda could do? It should be a place where problems or suggestions could be brought up to help the club. Is it? Or is now just another vehicle to keep the fans compliant?

I agree it should just be about match day, ticket issues etc.

I don't think having certain people on the scg is going to go very far in keeping all fans compliant is it?

Who amongst the fans reps do you think "plotted against [the club] with PR Companies" [Webber Shandwick]?
