Can't see one anywhere.

If one turns up, feel free to move this one there.

I know this has been said a thousand times and it's getting to be a bit tired and old hat, but this is surely the biggest game of the season!

We lose this and we could well be out of the top 6 come Saturday night.

Worse still, we have no game the following week and by the time we play Fleetwood at home, some teams around us will have played 2 games more, meaning we could actually be some points adrift of 6th place by then.

Scary thought and you'd have to wonder just how badly that would dent our confidence.

Southend are away at Scunthorpe. They are just two points behind us.

Then on Tuesday, Southend, Millwall and Sheff Utd all play. On the Saturday then of course, all our rivals play again, while we have no game.

If ever there was a must win, this is it!

Oh dear. You forgot to add it will be 3° maximum too. That will just add to the fun.

This IS a must win!

Especially with a 2 week gap between games, some teams will have played Saturday then twice more (rearranged midweek games) by the time we play fleetwood haven't looked at the fixtures but guessing we could be 4/5 points out the playoffs by that point if we lose or even fail to win Saturday!

By the time we play Fleetwood, Thorn would've had the new signings gelled!

Win 2.1 difficult game but we score first their confidence will be shot or at least what remains of it.

Couldn't give two shits about ex players playing for them either, enough clubs have them.

Won't win, Clarke will score, Hussey will have a blinder & the ref will be abysmal as per!

Roll on Saturday!!

Isn't that the exact thing that happened at their place?

We owe these city rejects a good fucking hiding.........I'm still in shock at how good Cameron & Hussey were at Gigg lane earlier this season.....

However, time to put the wheel back on this promotion chase....

3-1 City.

We will have to be careful of Hussey's crossing ability and get him concentrating down the other end with us on the attack.

Need to mark Clarke out of the game too.

Anyway, instead of worrying about them, I think we should be concentrating on our own strengths. We play to the best of our ability, we should win this.

Vincelot is back, so ....

Ricketts Cargill Stephens Stokes

Vincelot Fleck

Hopefully Mowbray will switch to 4-4-2 with Henderson and Armstrong up front, or 4-3-1-2 with Maddison or Cole in behind

Don't know, but with Vincelot back in, you would have to think Stephens would switch back to centre back and if he does that alongside Cargill, then you would think Ricketts, being the captain, would go back to right back.

We have to win this one and I think we will.

2-1. Though a 3 or 4-1 would be even better for sure. Really need the win whatever, but it would be nice if we could turn on the style a bit too don't you think!

Looking forward to this one, Legends day, must win, I'm staying at the Ricoh with the Mrs, buzzing for the weekend, need to get back a bit of that belief we had earlier in the season. I reckon we'll turn it on, turn things around and win 26-0.......OK 5-0.........Ok scrappy 1-0 but a wins a win :)

Will he always tick with 4-2-3-1?

How about 4-4-2 with Henderson up front making chances for Armstrong.

It's worse than that, after Saturday, Southend play 3 games before we play again. Tuesday 16th against Bradford, Monday 22nd against Burton, and Friday 26th against Port Vale. So even though they are fairly tough games I would expect Southend to be above us by the time we play again, whatever the result is on Saturday

Yeah, forgot they play that 3rd game a day before us don't they.

We really do need to win tomorrow don't we!

Seems that TM is acutely aware of social media opinion from today's interviews and articles, coupled with his observations on Paul Clements dismissal earlier in the week.

Coming over to see my daughter at Warwick Uni, which means her fridge is empty and needs filling , but for the first time this season she and my wife are coming to see the mighty skyblues with me. I normally drop them off and go alone so that's two extra on the gate.
ive gone for hopefully a less non swearing part of the Ricoh, stand A in the west stand .
i don't want them to hear the usual profanities I'm subjected to, I just hope it's a little calmer in that part

That is so familiar. I have a daughter at Warwick and usually go on my own as well. Took her to Walsall and she quite enjoyed so I might have someone to chum me in future

Yeah and his message appears to be STFU to the negative panicking fans

I can see a win this weekend, still not a convincing one. 2-1 to us with a lucky goal

You don't just suddenly snap out of a 10 game bad run.

But with the new additions I thought we earned a hard away point last weekend...taken in isolation a very good point.

We now need to build on that, a clean sheet would be progress and anything on top a bonus. A win very very welcome.

Here is hoping but above all keep scraping! Even a point might be vital long term.

On CT site, TM hinted he might rest Armstrong?

Otis

Well-Known Member
Has he? Well, I would take that. Whatever it takes to win the game.

If TM believes we can win the game without him, then so be it and I'm sure he does need a rest at some point.

Be a bit odd though if he was just resting him now, because we then don't have a game for two weeks.
