Arsetute?
Oh yes. Funny isn't it
Arsetute?
Think you need to find it then, because he'll have you for misquoting otherwise.
I think anything less than promotion is a failure - the end.
Was it 'You have the most beautiful eyes, do you want to meet up?'
Worst deal was the Wilson one, where we got Allsop, Coulibaly and McQuoid!
More like 'You haven't got a clue Arsetute. How can a team that narrowly escaped relegation in the last game of the season end up near the top of the table the next season' And that is me being polite
Arsetute?
Yes the exact quote was Arestute (see what I did there) it was a parody along with Mucas (which I cannot claim any credit for) aimed at posters who made rather feeble attempt at altering usernames and thinking it's clever.
A bit like Grendull and thickboy you mean
Arsetute?
Thick boy?
I'm not sure I like the way this is going...

One of the good things about Mowbray is that he has the stature to attract good players. I doubt whether we would have got Armstrong, Murphy, Kent, Cole, Cargill or Stephens without Mowbray at the helm. You remember the type of loanees we got under Pressley?
Exactly, what you have to remember is Mowbray rebuilt this squad in the summer.
With the team we have I would be disappointed if we didn't make the play offs and you could blame the manager for that if you wanted, but we should remember we wouldn't have had the team we have if it wasn't for Mowbray.
Ahhhhhhhhh I get it now. This thread is the start of 'we don't have a game next week, let's call each other cunts for 350 odd pages!'

Not just Mowbray but Venus too. They seem to come as a package as well so we wouldn't just be losing a good manager, we'd be losing a good technical director (I think that's his official title). Something that would take us a long time to recover from. Especially when you consider the endless conveyor belt of idiots SISU lumbered the club with in the past. We might never get a pairing this competent under SISU ever again.
I was amazed we got them in the first place and whether you like it or not the club's vision to get them in has to be commended.
This is especially the case when the majority were claiming we were certain to end up with Hockaday
It's TM's vision, he brought MV here. Let's not try and fool ourselves that it's all part of some SISU master plan envisaged by the likes of TF. It's not.
TM sort out an audience with JS and sold her a vision of the club and signed on his own terms. Part of that was bringing in MV to run the on field side of the business. If there's a vision at the club it's down to them.
I am not suggesting that SISU had the vision, I believed they stumbled upon a winner by good fortune but they certainly didn't go for the cheap option.
....and who brought them into the club in the first place? If you'd have listened to the majority you'd have never believed that we could have attracted someone like Mowbray; apparently they weren't willing to pay him what he wanted and we'd end up with Hockaday.

Nobody brought "THEM" in at all. Ironically the person who initially brought TM to the club is no longer here, Steve Waggott. TM stayed on his terms and then brought in MV himself to make it a "THEM".
I wasn't aware that Waggott pursued Mowbray, do you have a link to something about it? I wasn't aware that he was working for nothing either and here was me thinking he would be one of the highest paid managers in the league as well!

Do you have a link showing any different and how many clubs did we fight off to get him here.
Don't fool yourself he was unemployed and needed a job.
Of course he hasn't got a link.
It's just his latest round of shit to spout. Let's believe Waggo day.
Boro legend Mowbray was the first person interviewed for the job and was approached by chief executive Steve Waggott rather than applying for the post.
