How does that affect the current situation in view that we had a 1000 less against Scunthorpe ? ;)

I don't know if we matched the tickets being given away. There were loads for this one.

The fact that they pay players 10 x what we currently do should be a huge concern. 12k gates will lead them back to the huge debts that nearly put them out of business.

When they nearly went bust they never had access to lot of other incomes to compensate.
That's the point of taking over the Ricoh.

The wages is a valid point but considering a top player like Cipriani is coming here on a salary of £300K a year and Rooney is on that every week it's almost insignificant. In that respect the mountain we have to climb to get their becomes apparent. Even with the Ricoh we would need a sugar daddy.

The Rugby PL is capped at £7M per team for players wages so it's all on a level playing field here in England and should stop clubs spending above their means.

So surely we need access to them?

Or is it back to Other revenues don't matter if it is CCFC and they should just rent etc etc.

The fact we would need a sugar daddy even if we had the Ricoh, shows the trouble in competing we have.

The Rooney vs Cipriani wages comparable is a bit skewed as the money in football, especially from TV revenue, far surpasses that in Rugby, hence football wages are incomparable.

Re the PL wage cap, I noted a lot of Wasps fans were bitching on the Wasps forum that Saracens were cheats and are breaking the wage cap when Sarries beat them earlier in the season, and yet now after wasps gain revenge, not a peep. Incredible. ;)

You just don't listen do you ?
I've never said they don't matter.

I said that from where we are what is best for us.? A new stadium or a rental agreement with Wasps?
For some reason you seem to follow Sisu thinking that with a new stadium we will be better off because of all the revenues, yet never ask Sisu to prove it.

Have you proved it will be better to rent then?

It just shows how far we have dropped and how big the task is of getting back there.
Just wish Sisu would tell us the plan instead of bullshitting us because of the court case.

Why are you asking me ? Ask Tim Fisher for the figures when you next see him instead nodding along with him.
All I can do is apply a bit of common sense until Sisu are pushed on this or move on.

I've never met the bloke.

So if you don't know the figures, how can you keep pushing to stay at the Ricoh long term?

So you're saying rather than a new stadium Wasps should have stayed renting off Wycombe?

Or are you saying if SISU find an empty stadium 100 miles away we should move?

:thinking about:

No I'm saying what is the best option financially for us.
In Wasps case they had another option, an option that will never be available to us.

How do you know that will not be available to us? Lets say Bolton go out of business should we move there next season if it was the best option financially?

So we don't know what Wasps can offer either then?

As far as they know we are leaving and building our own stadium
Also when this court case is over there will be another case on the deal.

If I was them I'd maximise the incomes from us, put us out of business and buy us on the cheap :) .

Hypocritical Post #109837233223

Although after all that they have taken up the option on a new 2 deal at the same peppercorn rent as the first one, with access to incomes.
In addition they have replaced the pitch for us when clearly they seem to play better on a 4G pitch.

They haven't replaced the pitch "for us" have they?

Give the propaganda a rest.

To be honest the pitch for rugby could be a ploughed field, similar to when they arrived.
If we were not there it could have been 4G. So in theory it's grass because of the football.

Thought Wasps preferred a nice pitch because of the style of rugby they play? You keep banging the drum tho. Personally think you go on about them too much and hang out their arse more than what's healthy. SISU are bad, no doubt about it. Wasps are questionably worse. Certainly not any better.

They had use of Adams Park so I don't know what you are on about.
They obviously looked at it financially and made the decision to move.

So did they move because they had no permanent home or to make a few quid? See this is where you have no problem with them. You are very similar in that you put cash before morals. All the money and success in the world can't buy you respect. Albeit only an internet forum but I would hazard a guess not many on here respect your view or opinion.

Nick. This is 150 pages more boring than the last thread you shut for being boring. Isn't it past time you shut it down?

It's not boring in my opinion.

Let it stay open and let's see who keeps posting on it and resurrecting it.
