Bloody hell, that's going to make it really tough to get the ball on the fairway!
Yes it will be a long "drive" home

Because people were trying to make out that the council shouldn't / wouldn't be doing things for PR?
Of course the council extensively employs PR, forget Webber Shandwicks for a moment and take a look at this article I came across a while ago:
http://www.prweek.com/article/1179497/coventry-city-council-introduces-flexible-comms-hub
The article says that in 2013 the council was employing 21 people in it's PR team. I don't know what others think, but I think it's odd that a smallish local authority was employing quite so many PR staff. Also, the article says the council's PR team needed to make savings of £100,000 in 2013 - wtf was the overall budget if they could cut £100,000 from it!
I don't like Coventry City Council but it isn't a small local authority. It's a medium to large one.
It's hard to say what the annual cut would be, maybe 5% year on year?

I hope they have made you a decent officeThat reply was never going to go down well FP.
Don't try and be rational.
There is a Tower block getting built beside the railway station the only growing department in the council.
It's called Spin House.
I hope they have made you a decent office
