I'm talking to those who try to patch it over and pretend we're not in the shit here!

You can talk about improvement all you want and you can make it look good good by saying season on season we have x y and Z. But is this 3 wins in 15 now!??

I don't mind pragmatic discussions about what is going wrong and how it can be fixed but quoting the absolute points numbers or league position when our points per game is declining at an alarming rate is a stupid position to take!!! We're in free fall from that prospective and we need to change something quick. I don't know the answer but accepting a problem is preferable to patching over it

The current form is awful. Bury result seemed to be an isolated blip in a dire run. No one will fear playing Coventry City currently and that is unacceptable. If there were 50 games in a season i'd be looking anxiously at the bottom 3.

It's crazy. It's a real crisis and we are in freefall, yet posters say we will have plenty of wins before now and the end of the season.

Based on what? Last time we had back to back wins was November.

I know we keep saying it, but Saturday is a must win! Things need to change though first. Players need to roll their sleeves up, get out there and fight and battle and show a will to win.

We need passion and we need guts. Show that and maybe, just maybe we can have some sort of run.

I thought Burton losing JFH, and key players, and Walsall losing players, and Gills losing players would mean we would walk the league?

Also, Wigan, Millwall and Barnsley they are rubbish, mid table finishes for them.

:(

Been saying this for weeks. Regardless of whether we're still 6th, our form is shite, and the 5-0 and 6-0 wins have been the blips.

Honesty I can't see and end to this run. Quite simply another Mowbray team has plummeted after a promising first half of the season.

Remember he has a history of this.

Really hope he's learnt from the past and knows how to turn this around.

We've had some serious luck to still be in the top 6 after a run like this. We won't be on a bad run forever, but our luck is about to run out let's hope we win the next 2 games and get some confidence back and hopefully see it out.

I won't hold my breath though

Said it at the weekend - we're flat track bullies. The 5 nil and 6 nil wins are when the whole team can play without fear as the opposite are rubbish.

Hoping a decent result against a decent team will give us confidence soon.

Our form has been terrible but that is no reason to suggest it will continue anymore than those that say we will get some wins in. Fact is, form often falls off but rebounds again at some point. Given our manager and the squad I confidently predict our form will improve readily and soon. Saturday is a must win simply because our position is now precarious regarding our play off situation. We need it to consolidate our position with a game in hand too. How quickly it can look different?
We play at home and then away against less fancied sides (forgetting Fleetwood for the moment) and a pick up in form should get the job done. When your backs are against the wall you usually find a few results you are looking for. Also has to be said we have not been thrashed by anyone this season. Barnsley we were told by many are the top team right now. They won as expected at home on current form, but did we get thrashed? No. Had we been badly beaten then I would agree with the pessimist. So for me the tide will turn and I'm sure that will begin Saturday. It's certainly the time to bring. If we don't then the simple thing is we won't deserve it t. Remember others could have cashed in tonight and overhauled us but they too failed. There is some inconsistency everywhere apart from Burton it seems, who I said would win this league.
Lots to play for still.

The only glimmer of hope for me is that form is cyclical and when we do get back to top speed we'll be in the play offs full of confidence!

If today was the last game of the regular season I wouldn't fancy our play off chances - we'd get pummelled.

This is a real concern now, if you split this season of games played already we've been poor for the last half of it. Poor form coming into the business end of things is not good for confidence or even the most optimistic of us. Stats don't lie, were on the ropes sadly and in relegation form.
Mowbray needs to chair a clear the air crisis meeting at ryton tomorrow and devise a plan that's gonna get maximum pts before Saturday.

We haven't turned up against Fleetwood and Barnsley in the last 72 hours.

We should have seen a reaction tonight, yet they went through the motions, TM said we were poor "but we love them". They aren't 7 years olds who failed a spelling test.

just shows how shit the teams in this league are! we are in relegation form and still sit inside the top 6 (just)if we ever get another win it might consolidate us however going into a playoff birth with our form does not bear thinking about just now

Well you have to wonder how we went from our biggest victory since 1963, to that pitiful display against Fleetwood and then to top that with last night's effort.

TM is saying confidence is low, yet it was only 3 games ago where we won 6-0. That's some fragile confidence we have. How can we be so down in the mouth so quickly?

I think we were thrashed in reality last night in reality Paxman I do not think you were actually
at the game so therefore should not really make such a silly statement.

We may only have lost 2-0 but it was a very comfortable 2-0 as this coreline goes!!
