We need a right winger with a bit of pace, I've never seen the kid play but he's 19 and in my book if he ain't ready now for third division football he never will be. Has he featured much in the U21s ? Can't see Anderson allowing any new loans so could he be our secret weapon.

If he's ready then Mogga will include him in the squad. But he's been without a club for a while since he left us in the first place so no idea of his match fitness.

Left side centre-half likely to be brought in for the run-in and hopefully play-offs!

Why ? It's goals we need. Despite Stokes possible long term injury we have 5 who can play across the back 6 if we count Hunt as a left back along with a possible re-call for Haynes and maybe a fit again Willis, any news on him ?

When I got to the end of the bit that I've highlighted, I thought you were goingto continue with "so he's clearly not ready" or something....it never ceases to amaze me of how much we expect kids, aged 18-21, to perform as first-teamers. They're just kids at 19, they won't be the real deal until 22-23 at earliest.

Getting it right at the back is an absolute must for the run in if we are to have any chance.

Expect plenty more games like Saturday to come, scrappy wins is the only way we will get up not by playing free flowing attacking football. One more injury/suspension at the back and we are up the creek. If a loan is to be used it has to be in defense

Players develop at different rates, some Michael Owen for example are ready at 16/17 but find themselves shot by 29/30.

Others develop late, Ian Wright being an extreme example.

When they are good enough they are old enough, until them keep them eager and hungry.

Funny how you ignored the comment about Wilson isn't it?
Other players such as Tom ince, Ramires (ex Chelsea one), was in the Brazilian Div 3 at 20? Edin Dzeko, was in the Czech Republic 2nd division until 21 years of age. There are literally thousands of examples of players developing late? But Spence can't? Based on the evidence that Armstrong has developed earlier?

Great article here from the BBC a few months back on player development for those who are interested:

http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35054310

Read it a few weeks back thought it was interesting.
When I was doing my coaching badges a while back, my assessor, used to be part of the West Brom academy, and he worked with Ashley Williams, and he said, how Ashley used to be a striker, but had two bad years in a row, as he hadn't developed physically and was released at 16. But then look at him now, captain of Swansea in the premier league and playing at Centre half. You cannot judge players in how fast they develop.
It's all good bursting onto the scene as a 18 year old, but it seems to be that a lot of youngsters that do this go off the boil, Sterling, Zaha, Berahino. Haven't really kept progressing. Would rather see constant development, than an exciting prospect who doesn't live up to their billing.

I can go back years on kids, teenagers looking the part and fading away or the reverse. What I said in OP was if at 19 Spence or any other youth player of similar age isn't good enough to come into a third division team when will they ever be and I stand by that. He as I see it is the only right winger on the books we need a winger, give him a go or sub atleast

wasn't Jamie vardy working in a factory at 19 doesn't matter what level it is, some players aren't ready for first team level in their teens.

There's no sudden age where players should automatically be ready, regardless of whether you can name someone who was.

As I said before, when you are good enough you are old enough, they coaching staff clearly dont feel he is good enough for 3rd tier football yet but must see potential for him to get to that level, hence he still on the books.

He is not the answer to our right wing problems this season.
