Six points away from safety (3 Viewers)

7 really taking our goal difference into account.

Its getting to the point where the quality of performances are becoming irrelevant. By all accounts, we played well but a defeat is a defeat.

:(

we might be playing well with the best manager we have ever had but the table doesn't lie.

can we be consistant enough to make up 7 points with others having a game in hand? The next few games will tell.

Couldn't expected much more today, its the points thrown away in previous games that have cause this mess

A lot of ground to recover. Given our overwhelming generosity to give points away when in front, and our complete inability to score more then 1 goal in a match, can you see us catching up with the teams above us?

FACTS: We are the lowest goalscorers in the entire football league and have given away more points from winning positions then any other team in this league.

But we're playing Cardiff on Tuesday.....

The only hope I can offer is that it is very rare that 3 teams get cut adrift to the extent that the bottom 3 in November all go down come the end of the season. One of us, Donny or Bristol C will probably turn it around. The question to ask is: which of those 3 will strengthen in January, and which will sell 3 of their best players at Christmas so that the owners don't have to put any money in? That is why we will be relegated.

I stand corrected, it was the BBC who came up with that stat. Still doesn't change the fact that a team only has to score 1 goal to get a point from us, at least.

Even with us 1-0 up, any team must fancy their chances against us. Its a cocktease when we take the lead, you think OhMyGod, we could win this! We rarely bloody do.

A large part of that is the opposition having the tools on the bench to make a difference and an adjustment. Burnley brought Austin on and went to two up front-it changed the game. WH brought on Carlton Cole-a striker who still has England ambitions-pushed Kevin Nolan into a more forwards position, and hoofed it relentlessly. It also changed the game. We had Carl Baker and not much else by way of useful options.

Six points is only two wins. Easy!

We only won 2 so far this season! Sure, the teams above us will drop points, and unfortunately, so will we, like we have been all season, including today.

Right now, I'd settle for us scoring 2 goals, let alone winning 2 games.

The table certainly does not lie, no matter how positive today was, it was another defeat and another game we gave a lead away. I cannot see where the next win is going to come from never mind chase the 6 points (and a game in hand). We are fooked!

I'm sorry folks but this has been comming the last couple of years. We have been lucky to a couple of good runs that saved us in previous years but I can not see where them runs are going to from this year. And as for AT being the best manager we have ever had I do hope that was a joke

Not even draws are any good to us now we need to put together some wins if we have any chance of clawing back the 6 points. Also I know this won't happen but we need three loan players now to help make this happen. Our squad is thread bare and the games are going to be coming thick and fast over the xmas period. We can't cope with the level of injuries we currently have never mind if we get any more.

Three loans? More of a fantasy than winning the league this season

At least another 29 points required I reckon, around 12 wins from 28 games but were running out of games.

At this rate the gap between us and safety will be double figures by Xmas. Just can't see where the next win is coming from while everyone else around us picked up point(s) today.
