Reckon we would have filled the allocation if we were still up in the mix, reckon we'll still take 1.5K though. 4 of us booked on the train, not been there since 2003 I think it was, loads of trouble that day aswell with Cov smashing up a pub near the station. Not sure what that was all over, not aware of any history with them. Any drinking recommendations?

Didn't they turn over the Hertford or Hand & heart on Far Gosford street 2002/03/04? Don't know which action led to the other if as you state, Coventry did one of their pubs.
As for your last question - Aim for your mouth and swallow. Repeat until you can dance like a bastard. See you there.

It was 2004. After Wigan had smashed up the Hertford (September 2003). City took about 2k that day, we were on a great run under Eric Black.

we took 2k your place you will bring half that....hows mid table working out for you ? 20 points below us

On the first day of the season, turn it round if you were coming to our place on Saturday and we were top and you were mid table how many would you be bringing?

Mid table is fine thanks if you are lucky you might get there in the championship next year if not we will see you the year after next as we will probably still be hanging around this league.

Seriously though mate, if it wasn't the first game of the season you would have brought 800 max. Your average home gate is only 8K and you've been on a cracking run for the last 4 or 5 months. Its only Tuesday so with 1K sold we'll still sell a few hundred more and also a couple of hundred will pay on gate so there will still be 1.5K there for a team that is out of form and lost hope of playoffs. Our support away in this league is top notch to follow a team up and down the country who really should have delivered more.

Fair play to Wigan timed this run to perfection.

See you back at the Ricoh season after next, I'm sure we'll still be making up the numbers in this division.

we are clearly the best team in the league it just took us time to gel,and to the other poster we average over 9k home fans so that's false and we have some real gems..we will be pushing play offs in the championship trust me..big clubs dont stay in league 1! and our away support is top in this div we just sold out 1800 for Burton on a Tuesday night...

Blackpool's a local derby for you lot, and of course you'll be taking big away support, your about to piss this league, congratulations, but try a bit of humility mate, it will help you in the future.

From what I've read average away attendances at the Ricoh have been around the 1k mark(Being generous) one or two 2-2.5k at most. leaving on average about 5-6k more than your lot can boast for home support :)

It seems rather silly people arguing about attendances when our population is 4 times greater

The town of Wigan has a population of just under 100k but the greater community takes it up to what you see in the chart.

So what? Then you need to add all the cv postcode towns on our area which extends to Southam and Nuneaton so the population is well in excess of 700,000
