bradford are bastrds. anyone recall what it costs for an away ticket? casual 25. it's so hypocritical to lap up the applause for cheap season tickets and then offset it by charging 25 quid to hapless away fans.

So they recouping there losses from big away followings.
I'm a believer in £20's plenty at this level.
Wigan deal is very good, brings the fans back and rewards the loyal.

Yes but if it's a race to the bottom count me out.
There are consequences when reducing your budget.

Would be a waste of time, you could charge 170 and risk having very little increase.

We all know, as seen this season, a chance of success brings the crowds back.

Completely agree wingy. Our ST's were reduced by around 30% in summer. Judging by crowds now I doubt we sold enough to make up the short fall.

Coming down to Wigan's lrvrk would represent a 50% in just over a year, you'd have to sell double STs to make up the short fall, but then those increase in STs eikk likely be those regular casuals, so then you'd have less playing £20 so its going to hit your budget. I'm sure the fans wikk be happy with a lower playing budget as long as tickets are cheaper..

Hoping they keep the same pricing structure as this season, but I do expect an increase in adult season tickets especially in the middle blocks like previously.

I don't mind the prices from this season or even a little bit more as they were a good deal. Paying monthly is a bit better too, just depends on the interest.

I think the Scg minutes said an increase in some blocks, I thought the tickets were a fair value, but whatever price the opposition charge our fans when we travel away we should charge their fans the same here.

Has that been publicised, have heard this. Maybe SCG minutes?

Yeah think as TGP says above talk of increases on certain blocks.
For instance I've been in block 20 since the Ricoh move a decade ago when I think there was a flat rate again despite the increase we've stayed, this season round me it's packed with new STH with the flat rate meaning people will move in from blocks further down and behind the goal, guess the club will hope the central view etc will mean even with an increase in blocks 19-21 people will stay where they are this
Season for next even with the price going up.

Yep we should do that. Encourage other teams to stop taking the piss.

block 20 seems to be the block of choice for a lot on here

Last seasons blanket price was very good for this level. I hope they don't increase blocks 19/20/21.
Football needs to be priced for the average working man!!!
Wigans deal is very good for the fans, not so sure it is from a commercial point of view but a great gesture. Maybe it's because Wigan is predominantly a rugby league town so football is the 2nd choice sport.

With regards to season-tickets, prices haven’t yet been announced, partly down to our current league position. The plan is to sell early-bird season tickets for a period of time up until the end of the season (until after the play-offs, if that applies). We hope to announce the prices in the next three weeks.

The club appreciates the value of the next generation of Sky Blues fans – it will ensure prices are structured in a way to make it affordable for families and young people. There will a more structured approach to pricing to ensure greater affordability. There is a plan to expand the age categories – under 13, instead of under 12; under 18 instead of under 16. There will still be a family zone, but there will be child ticket pricing across the stadium.

The club has retained its credit licence so it will be able to reintroduce the season-ticket instalment plan. They are looking at a ten month payment period but this is to be confirmed. This will be in all areas, including corporate.

There will be structured pricing, not for different games (not in League One anyway but this may be reconsidered if we get into the Championship), but zonal across the stadium.

S
im just joking.

i have sat in 20 alot this year. next year i will go back to outskirts cos i think 3 or 4 quid more for a different block is silly

sucks for me

I only sit there because I sit with a couple of other people who wouldn't move as they are oaps so get it at a reduced price anyway.

Its always three bloody weeks! So they should be on sale by the end of next week. Doesn't give a very long early bird period, only about 3 weeks so I imagine that will be extended.

I don't think we can complain about season ticket prices, ours were cheaper than a lot of league 1 clubs last season and comparable the season before. Bradford got a lot of headlines for their low price but I believe it was a flat rate whatever your age. So concessions were high. I dare say adult tickets will increase slightly but kids tickets will be reduced meaning we pay a little less or the same as last year if like me you and your child are season ticket holders.

I've said all along the only thing that will bring crowds back is success. Just look at the crowds in Nov and Dec when we were having our purple patch compared with the rest of the season.

Yes price isn't that much of a factor. Many would go anyway if it was more money and others go if the team does well.

Teams with cheap deals charge much more for match day games and package deals for a few games over a season can be as effective.

I would like more benefits with the season ticket. Free entry to early cup rounds that some clubs offer.

Should deffo be a given for ST holders......especially as we will probably be out of all 3 comps by November again....so won't cost the club much

Agree we should get free entry to the first round of the cup and if we are away never mind or they should build it into the season ticket price so you wouldn't have to give away so much money to the fa and the away team
