I don't know. If I did, I'd be a manager or an owner. But I hope someone in the back room at CCFC is busy figuring it out and working on getting us some of it for next season.

What have teams like Burton, Bradford, Barnsley, Walsall and Gillingham got that we haven't? Team Spirit? Happy dressing room? Better players? They all must have something we haven't.
Well, Burton, Walsall and Gillingham (at least) have been building their teams for at least three years!

You have to own the players and keep the ones you do to do that.
We are just a training camp for everyone else.

Yes and that is down to SISU. They had even dismantled the scouting system at one stage. Everything about the club has a short term feel, there seems to be no medium or long term planning.

So, apart from team spirit; a happy dressing room; better players; a bit of fight and belief; bigger stronger players; continuity; good owners; an injury free back 4; variety; consistency; more than 57 points; weakest links being better than our weakest links... What have they got that we don’t? Nothing.

Didn't Pressley do the scouting system stuff?

No he pointed out it was inadequate. Put his own system in using friends and contacts...then people moaned when he took the information with him. Probably because it belonged to him and not the club.

Actually, there is something else they have ... players who can score penalties.

He had his own laptop a mobile phone and his own phone book didn't he? The club had nothing IIRC and no intention of putting anything in place. It took TM insisting on control of the budget before signing up so he could see that a network was installed. The club probably still wouldn't have one otherwise. So we'd have been back to the managers own laptop and phone book.
