I can't believe these guys entertain them.
We were punching above our weight before Xmas and we have been found out.

Saying it's an improvement and we can build on it next year is ignoring the facts and letting Sisu off the hook.

Reading some of the comments batting around this board it's almost sounds acceptable.

We need these idiots out and we may not be able to do much about it but at least we should continue to make it known.

I dont disagree Italia, as we have previouslly discussed I now see that if working with Wasps benefits the club, and helps us from our current awful position, then I am for it.

I also agree that the JR's are not helping.

They are also a threat though, and as I have always said I would rather SISU be gone and then Wasps, to a London homecoming. Perhaps Wasps could give SISU a lift back to London ;)

Your probably right, we should keep on hiring,blaming, firing managers
at a rate of knots,whilst at the same time ignoring the wilful neglect,
endless lies, and total incompetence of our illustrious leaders.

We will bounce around L1 for a while and it may get even worse with a trip to L2.

While this is true, there are far more attractive clubs to buy out there than us unfortunately. I can't see a sugar daddy taking us over any time soon.

Unfortunately the times of plenty of buyers fishing for clubs has past for now. Since the economic crash buyers have declined dramatically.

Premier league clubs struggle to find buyers let alone a L1 team.

We made the wrong choice when the greater good chose Sisu.

Of course, the form is nothing to do with the manager at all.

I must have missed everybody saying how pleased they were with the team tim Fisher picked after we beat gillingham.

Look, I understand SISU have been shite on the whole for us and made some horrific fucking decisions over the years but the recent SISU bashing rearing its head on this forum and getting louder .... no coincidence that it has coincided with our awful form on the pitch.

I find it alarming that some fans want us to chuck money at it all, money that isn't there, when we all know what happened last time we did that.

Why is it alarming? We were on a roll by November and gates picked up. That's what happens. We had some rotten luck with injuries and couldn't respond. Gates have fallen dramatically as cheap loans failed to inspire. At certain times you twist to accumulate, Sisu chose to stick, with predictable consequences.

No not really. Hate wasps more. Completely wrong and immoral to move a club from its traditional home. To leave the fans without a club they have supported their entire life. To expect them to travel miles to watch their home team. However sisus decision to move us to Northampton made business sense. The club was saddled with an unsustainable rent deal and no other option within the city boundary. Something had to give. A big decision had to be made. Yes in the short term it might have been costly but sisu had to think long term about the clubs future. I didn't personally go Northampton but if it was within walking distance I would have. Hell I'd even of kitted out the family in merchandise.

So you're either a wasps fan then or completely misinformed.

Let's look at your claim then that moving the club to Northampton made good business sense because the club was saddled with unsustainable rent and there was no other options within the city. One, the club was no longer saddled with the rent when SISU moved it to Northampton. The rent agreement was dissolved by administration which happened long before we moved to Northampton. Two, you say there were no other options inside the City. Err yes there was, it's the option we eventually took after a season and a couple of games of financial ruin in the self imposed exile in Northampton (that's the opposite of good business sense just in case you aren't keeping up) the problem was SISU never pursued this option despite offers from ACL being made through both the administrators before a single CCFC fan had to consider stepping into Northampton and then later in the season through the FL. The second was even denied as being made by SISU until the FL confirmed that the offer had been made. At no point did a counter offer come back from SISU.

Northampton was a disaster for the club. Not just financially, it removed us as anchor tenant at the Ricoh making it easier to sell to an outside entity and it caused divisions.

The fact that you don't understand all this is quite frankly mind blowing considering you're supposed to be a CCFC fan. They're pretty basic facts in the debacle that was Northampton.

Absolutely agree with all of this.
But just to add one more thing,how many people who used to attend games
before lost interest and stopped going after.
They lost people who had been going for years, at a club that can scarcely
aford to loose anyone.

It's nothing to do with "accepting where we are" though. If the alternative is to throw imaginary money at it and risk another Bryan Richardson based legacy, I'm not interested.

We have a budget and squad comfortable of competing at the top end this season, Mowbray and the players haven't delivered in the second half season.

What have SISU done in this second half of the season that's anything different to the first half of the season?

I apologise though if you were bemoaning SISU's lack of investment in the side whilst we were smashing Gillingham 4-1 to go top of the league back in November.

It's also worth pointing out that people need to change their attitude of "throw money at something and it's guaranteed success". They quite simply isn't true in football unless it's money on a scale that the likes of a minute few have and none of us are surely silly enough to expect that kind of investment (which would break FFP anyway) ..... are we?

Not that I disagree with your overall point too much, but there's a good argument that changing the budget halfway through the season is not conducive to a settled plan.

We had management change and a budget change halfway through the season. I'm not saying it's the reason, but it can't have helped.

The early season form was never anything more than a convenient smokescreen
for SISU to hide behind. Football fans are funny like that, they'll put up with
almost anything if the team is doing well.
For people to say we didn't moan about SISU when we were doing well is very
simplistic and very naive.

Smokescreen? That implies it was a conspiracy, somehow they'd hoodwinked all of those teams to let us win. Unbelievable.
