The Next Generation (2 Viewers)

Coventry City's youth academy has produced some impressive talent over the years. The seemingly inevitable loss of Bassala Sambou has got me thinking. So for this week's Cooks Question, i want to know which youngster it is vital to keep ahead of the new campaign. The best answers will be read out during Sports Lounge 10am this Thursday live on 98.6 Hillz FM

I honestly think Ivor Lawton can be a stand out player if he can keep fit. Corey Addai has the potential to be a top keeper and if Ryan Haynes can work on his strength, he'll be something special

In answer to the OP, they're all fooked.
Seriously though Liam I really liked the look of the young Left-back and midfielder Tom Bayliss in the youth cup games hope we keep them and they progress.

Doesn't matter, SISU will sell anyway as soon as someone makes an offer? Then pocket the cash. The club being a cash cow and that.

Sarcasm aside (apologies). Not seen much of the youngsters but would say Stevenson and Harries. Slower than Platt would be the best to answer. If I remember rightly he rates Kyle Finn and Darragh Leahy?

From what I have seen Cian Harries is the most technically gifted player we have, very calm and assured on the ball, and reminds me a bit of John Stones. Would like to see him in and around the team next year. Hopefully he bulks up over summer.
Darragh Leahy does have potential yes, will be interesting to see how he gets on next year, but don't see him quite coming into the first team at least not regularly until the season after next.

Well the first part was right, SISU will sell them, I think they use the proceeds to pay the wages of loan players though.

I thint that if you check the PFA contract rulings that if a club fails to honour a players contract they are entitled to a free transfer.?

Was going to post the same. The club would be in breach of contract and any player that wanted to could walk. So why would Maddison not have just gone to Norwich and pocketed the transfer fee for himself?
