Simple question.
who should we be trying to get to sign a new contract and where do we need to strengthen to be in with a chance next season ?

for me we should be trying to keep fleck, tudguy, jack stephens if we can get him, stokes should be offered a new contract, reda on a pay as you play contract

let go or all ready going would be burge, cole, ramage, armstrong, murphy, c thomas, murphy, maddison, ricketts, hunt, henderson

from looking at this we defo need a back up gk, two decent strikers, a centre half, a right back and three meidfield players including a decent winger

Need to keep Stokes and need cover for him as well. Need a couple of right backs if Phillips goes, although I'd be tempted to offer him another year.

Think Willis is the only one under contract, should defiantly try and keep Martin but will need a couple more bodies to come in as well.

I'd offer Fleck a contract but that might not be our choice. Suspect Bigi had some sort of agreement to sign when he came here. Finch is probably a cheap option so give him another year or two to break through. Wide left looks lacking so get someone in there.

Is any forward but Thomas under contract? That's going to be a key position.

Assuming Stokes and Martin sign we're looking at a new forward line, wide left, central defence cover and right back as priority.

2 Murphy's? What a horrible thought.
Is Bigi staying?

Just throwing it out there, Baker is free in the summer? Would anyone have him back? Can't deny his love for the club.

I'd take Baker and Turner back, experience is what's needed. Nice to see that Mowbray has started his summer planning earlier. He also has a scout list to work with this year

Ignoring tbe loan players, i can't see fleck re-signing, stokes should be a formality, so the only player we must resign is Martin.

With the amount of players we'rr losing we basically have to rebuild and strengthen all areas of the pitch with probably goalkeeper and left back as the exception.

Baker has missed a fair amount of this season injured hasn't he. Will be 34 next season as well. If his fitness is up to it and the price is right I'd be tempted but I'm not sure we'd be getting as good a player as some seem to think.

Competely agree, we shoukd stay well clear of him now. Too old, and won't be the same player we had previously. It will be mcsheffery all over again.
Can't see there being any chance of Turner dropping to League 1.
Agreed, there will be a championship club willing to take a punt on him and offer better wages than we could, plus he has also had a couple of seasons injuries, could be reda mk2.

Should we only sign ex players?

We should not even consider resigning Reda on any basis. Surely two disastrous seasons is enough. Will we ever learn our lesson?

Free transfers of Amari Bell, Matty Taylor, Tommy Rowe, Jonathan obika, Dan Holman, Ben Turner. If there is cash avaliable I'd spend it on a striker likely paddy madden.
Retain Phillips, stokes, Martin, Tudgay. I think fleck will stay also, if he don't bigi will likely be offered a deal.
I'd let go Ricketts, Lorenztson, ramage, Henderson, hunt. Cole likely off to a warmer place.
