Hi guys, Palace fan in peace.

Joined yesterday and discussed protests with some of you and just had a thought.

If SISU are really planning to plunge CCFC into administration and let the creditors liquidate, why not create a trust fund just in case (dare I say it) the worst does happen, so that you could either:
a). Bail the club out. Might need a substancial amount of money.
b). Create a new club. If you had enough money you could use it to re-incarnate the club.

Our trust, the Crystal Palace Supporter's Trust, looked into such plans when we nearly went out of business. AFC Palace was coined.

Just a thought. Hopefully it won't go down to this and you'll be bought out by people who have the club's interest at heart. However if you feel that protests won't do anything and you feel helpless, why not do this?

We have investors waiting in the wings and an offer of £1 was made to SISU. If SISU go then these new guys could hopefully step in and takeover. Hopefully they would be more willing to invest than SISU.

Ok then, but what happens if the creditors pull the plug. Surely they know the situation where SISU aren't paying off debts. If they do it could get very complicated with a CVA et al.

If these investors buy the club for a quid, would that wipe the debt?

SISU are the creditors. The club's only debt is to its owners.

Oh the phrase involving the Trust made me laugh - is the Sky Blue Trust still going? Deafening in their silence over the whole SISU affair - why are they not actually proving they have any worth and arrange some questioning of the board on behalf of supporters. Not asking them to organise protests as obvioulsy that would be too much like doing something positive but something would be a change. But no nothing, nada, rein, nic, zilch, sod all - they could have proved they have some sort of role to play in the clubs future but are probably having a committee meeting to decide how to structure the vote on the crucial matter of whether to change from Ribena to Vimto at meetings. Fans representation on the board? No wonder Ken sneers and treats us with no respect.

The Sky Blue Trust are useless, have added nothing to the club and merely serve as a purpose to inflate their members egos.

they were very quiet when the SISU takeover was going on as well. They don't seem too keen to rock the boat. I would expect them to be at the forefront here.

Maybe it's time a new trust was started so we can have some coordinated action.
