Probably not. CCC are though and they must know what is going on.
Its not a good sign that Higgs handed it over to CSF who have been heavily promoting Wasps and are behind the city of rugby rubbish.

To be fair, you have hit the nail on the head. 3 years ago they were on about it. Now Anderson is on about it. Time for our owners to do something about it.
I was at the vale last week in cardiff, a fantastic facility that their rugby team and football team share. Sadly, the only thing our owners seem to share is space in the courtroom.
Not surprisiing that SISU/ Club are easy to blame though and that is one reason to blame them. They put themselves in an easy position to be blamed and are suffering for it now. The club has not yet settled the stadium Problem, so any 'long Term commitment ' could be out the window tomorrow if a stadium complex ever happened ( it won't but the theory is enough to be used against them).

yes.. you are right we have to all be on the same hymn sheet ,but also we have to remember we have good coaching staff in the academy if i knew, were i was working would be shut down in a year or so i would be looking for another job mate they have families they need assurances asap this has to sorted out quick, we have no home, the academy and the fanbase is the only foundation we have at the moment.
Hasn't the indication that the preferred option would be for the Academy to say at Higgs only been put forward since Anderson has raised it?
All other indications had been that it would be part of the combined facility SISU were progressing.
He didn't take up the role until last November and has only raised the point this year and this falls alongside talks SISU are now having with CRFC?

I don't have any interest in a swimming pool, as far as I'm concerned they can repurpose the main baths and not build anything to replace them.However it is nonsense of you to claim that costs to keep the old pool open would remain static for nearly 70 years, utter nonsense and you know it.

When going back to the higgs both parties were happy with the contract agreement and were talking about the long term werent they?
Are we going to just refer to something Fisher said 3 years ago to make it ok for the Academy to be screwed over then? I guess so as it gives us a chance to all go on about SISU's bluff being called and high five at the chance to be angry at them.
Still, it won't achieve anything.
I would have thought this was something everybody could agree on?
Quiz the club and the higgs side, see if the club really are pushing for long term there like they say. If that is true then pressure the higgs, if it isn't then go all out on the club.
If Wasps and the pool is happening, ask if the club could still remain or not.

This is all about SISU bullshitting their way through what they are going to do for our club and the others involved moving on. SISU said that they would find somewhere else for our academy. Higgs either had to pay a lot of money to replace the pitch for someone that said they were going to leave or consider other options. I hope that it isn't too late. But on top of this Higgs know what SISU are like.
How many of those blaming the other sides to SISU would put their money in to help CCFC now knowing what SISU are like?

In a minuted meeting with Rugby Borough Council on 11th March 2015 the following was said -
"TF clarified that the requirement is for a community integrated Stadium for 18,000 capacity, together with some other adjoining developments – want to
consolidate all club resources on one site. Also, want to move the Academy (as this is the pillar for the business moving forward), this would include the first
team training facility.
TF identified that the Academy part of the project is best suited to green belt by definition. He said he was aware of a precedent where a sports facility has
already got planning in green belt.
SW highlighted that it is cross-cutting with a sports facility - as it is to be a training/development/sport and
leisure facility. CCFC would be keen to develop this idea as the Stadium is under-used at present and this would present a wider remit as a performance centre
for games. This could be integrated fully with other community needs as the Academy/development centre is a pathway for young talent.
TF confirmed that it may be possible to split the resources, with a proposal to build the Academy facility in green belt and the Stadium lying outside the green belt area."

Why was the contract length never an issue in the previous years?
Why are people so against questions being asked and will just keep going on about Tim Fisher, even though Anderson has said difference since?

Yep, so even if we had a 5 - 10 year deal there would they have put all of the Engage and city of Rugby stuff on hold or not doing it? Same with the pool if that goes through.
The whole thing about the land by the Higgs has been very quiet, people on here mentioned it last year and it was touched on after people kept mentioning it to SImon when he came on here but it just got left after they both said no comment.

The big problem is it seems just like the Arena debacle. SISU say that they don't want it until it is too late and everyone else has moved on.
Nick I 100% agree that the current situation we find ourself in is ridiculous, but just trying to be objective and offer clarity of how we've found ourselves at this current point.
I again point the finger directly at Tim Fisher.
Yes Anderson has now said the preferred option would be to stay at Higgs - but this is only in the last few months and with a background presented by Fisher that we'd be amalgamating all the facilities and Higgs faced with the position of the Academy upping sticks and leaving.
The situation needs sorting as a matter of urgency and I genuinely hope that it's resolved with the Academy staying at Higgs - but I think the suggestion that it was inevitable we'd be kicked out is misplaced when looking at the situation/Timeline objectively.

My guess would be that SISU said that they wanted a 1 year rolling contract when they said that they would build their own training facilities. And then are we expecting everyone to hold on and not plan for the future with the information they have been given?

Maybeyou are saying that nobody should believe anything that SISU say and they should have risked spending a lot of money replacing the playing pitch knowing that we would stay there and not planned for the future.

They can't communicate what CCFC want without giving the impression they are lying.
CCFC is suffering because of Sisu upsetting everyone.
As a result Organisations are moving on mainly due to financial reasons but I suspect there is a little bit of satisfaction when Sisu bullshit is exposed.
Unfortunately Club and Fans are suffering.

Nick I ain't trying to start an argument and I hope you understand that my only concern from my previous post is the academy. But the fact is that only one party has failed to secure the long term security of the academy and that's SISU. Only one party is tasked with securing the long term future of the academy and that's SISU. So when you say that the academy is being screwed over that's because SISU have allowed that to happen with half assed short sited thinking. The truth is that the language towards the Higgs centre has only changed since CA arrived in November, the same goes for the stadium. TF and Co have been using our club as a whole in some game play of bluff, counter bluff and bluff again with no clear end game and as someone pointed out that was still going on last year, it's not even an of the cuff comment from 3 years ago it was a meeting with RBC and TF acting in his official capacity for the club.
Unfortuantly SISU set a stall out, may have been a fake stall, who knows but either way they set it out and it gave every other party the perfect platform to move on without them. They and they alone have set the scene and the chickens have come home to rest.
Doesn't mean that we shouldn't unite and fight for our academy though.
One of my points, why tear up a perfectly well used indoor facility to put down a 50m pool that costs a min of £10m for it to hardly be used. Waste of Money and am sure its only going ahead because of the potential grants.
