Didn't really answer the question though did it? That's the second post I've seen from you saying 'where did he say he was informed'. Obviously, him starting a thread and saying he is close to the owners and that is how he knows is a pretty big giveaway that he was informed, whether correctly or incorrectly.

Everyone of you with the exception of 2-3 have given your reason/opinion what Bawtryneal has been "Informed" either rightly or wrongly. A couple of you have been using their brain and been very close. However none of you have come up with the correct answer to the OP's post. As it's not my place to tell you the answer (Due to a SISU favourite phrase) "Confidentiality clause" You'll have to keep throwing in your opinions

He then decided the story was 100% true; giving the "bloody SISU" line and commenting that people like me would look stupid if TM goes. It wasn't true. However, now to try and save face he's making up some kind of "I know a secret and you lot don't " bollocks to deflect from being wrong in the first place. It hasn't fooled me

No one is acting like they know more than the OP. As Otis and a couple of others stated, there could be a genuine reason as to why Neal said what he said. Like others have also said, he's seemingly not the type to make shit up.

That said, the one thing that this forum is good at (on all sides) is picking things apart and deciphering whether something has much merit. It just seems strange that a club would inform a shirt sponsor of such information that wasn't in the public domain at that point or that someone in a decent position would publish such sensitive information despite allegiance.

What didn't help was comments like 'egg on your face'....

I am the source. My company is sponsoring RUFC next season. Look on there website and you will see my photo. I am very close to the owners and directors.

So if no one informed him (despite in his own words 'being very close to the owners and directors'), he then got the information and published it without confirming it's truth from key stakeholders. That's even worse!!
