CCC end game (3 Viewers)

what do people think the councils end game is?

As low as my opinion of the council is I can't believe that even they would want to eradicate the Citys football club, would they?

It's quite clear they want SISU out but what happens after that and what happens if SISU don't go?

Would any sitting Councillor in one of the ten biggest Citys in the UK want to be associated with the destruction of their football team?

end game is 'win' vs sisu

if ccfc lose its just collateral damage to them, they do not care

especially as we have some weak willed c**t males in this city who happy to switch allegience to wasps

Their end game is this Rugby city or city of Rugby or whatever it is called, imagine trying to make a fuss out of this minority sport.

The answer is, most of them really don't care. As long as they can pin enough of the blame on SISU, there's no great threat to their majorities. That's what they do care about.

Yes, it's retaining power that is important. Making it look like their judgement is shrewd. I absolutely despise the council, I believe that their actions, going all the way back to the inception of the Arena on the Gasworks site, have wrecked the future prospects of the football club. They are not alone in that, I also blame the former owners, the current owners and the Higgs Trust.

Have any real fans switched allegiance, not many I wouldn't of thought, just the ones
who only turn out for us when things are going well.
Rest assured IF our fortunes ever change for the better, they'll be back and sitting next
to you telling you how much they love there club and follow them through thick and thin.

The thing is, we need all of our fans to be there as much as possible. Fill the ricoh for as many games as possible to show CCFC do matter.

While city fans are not bothering and going to Wasps instead, of course they will get the upper hand. It is a bit embarassing.

We should fill the Ricoh and get behind Mowbray and players.

Put aside SISU, CCC etc and just concentrate on CCFC, surely as CCFC fans that should be standard anyway.

I know one season ticket holder who has switched and somebody who went to a lot of the city games has gone to the dark side dish shame on them for doing that.

Couldn't agree more Nick, our lethargic support has always concerned me, although
any club with our problems would find support hard to come by.
Feeling really uneasy at the moment and have never been more worried that our
whole future is on the line. Unfortunately the noises coming from the people who
can actually do something about it , just tell me we are the only ones who care.

I think CCC end game is to have wasps thriving by any means possible and to have coventry become known and recognised as a city of rugby

If ccc want to get sisu the should think about the collateral damage it would inflict on the football club this has to be a breach on human rights or something. Bunch of cunts.

Our whole future was on the line the moment wasps acquired the Ricoh 2 years ago, I feared it at the time and now crunch time is coming. The next 3 years will either be the tuning point or the end, at the moment I can't see anything but the end.

Pretty much.

So what do the football fans do? Start converting to Rugby fans FFS.

Don't you remember city fans coming on here saying how great the move was? How great everything would be for the Rugby club and the football team and that it was ok as the conditions of the move was that it couldn't damage any existing teams?

The council are getting their city of culture bid sponsored too ;)

It's that support that would make everyone stand up and take notice of the club. Demonstrates how important it is to the community and the city. This is the time the fans HAVE to come in their tens of thousands.

Hence my season ticket has been renewed. As it will every season. I feel we just have to keep going and not abandon the club. Though, it also does pain me that it goes to our incompetent owners. But in someways it's good to see the stale mate of us not knowing what the the long term future of the club is coming to an end. Something huge will happen soon. Either good or bad. But at least we will know.

That is the best way to do it, while we all roll over and not bother but then go and watch Wasps instead what message does that send out?

yeah if we were packing out ricoh for league 1 games it would surerly help

sisu more likely to do rent deal for 1 i guess as they know gate reciepts are worth it. not to mention might help team on pitch week in week out

The councils end game is simple, who pays the most I.e. Cov uni and wasps. They have no interest in bartering just want quick cash to meet their development plans
