That's a shame SISU won't spend that much on player's, he would have been a good replacement for Adam Armstrong .:(

We did actually offer him a deal last year and he turned us down so you cant really blame SISU for that
That's Because Swindon offered him more money than SISU !!! :banghead:

No Swindon offered more than TM as TM was in charge of the budget.
TM maybe in charge of the budget but SISU, CCFC set the budget !!! :banghead:

Yes but clearly, we could have afforded Ajose given the amount of signings we made after being linked to Ajose, however clearly TM didn't think he was worth as much as he wanted.

Wasn't it something to do with paying off his Leeds contract and we weren't prepared to do it?

Rings a bell, thing you are right...we were able too, but it would have represented a huge chunk over our budget, which obviously TM didn't think was worth it.

So we should offer all the players were after whatever they want? Paying over the odds has never done us any harm before has it....
No we shouldn't offer player's what they want, I'm just saying that Swindon payed more than CCFC and got one of the best striker's in Div one !!!

So what are you saying then? we should only offer a lot of money to the good players? If only Mowbray had thought of only signing the good players, think you're on to a winner there.

Then Tony Mowbray got it wrong then, Adam Armstrong and Ajose playing up front for the Sky Blues would have got us promoted to the Championship, In my opinion .

We certainly would have had some goals for column with those two up front, probably would have been even worse at the back though. It could possibly have been a bad decision by Mowbray but blaming SISU for anything and everything takes away our objectivity and allows us to be shafted even more

How do you know that? If we had signed Ajose, it would have cost most likely around 500- 600k. Because this is the deal leeds wanted:
Leeds had wanted the club to cover the cost of paying up his two-year contract, where he was earning three to four times more than the average City player, with the player also looking for a decent settlement on the remainder of his deal.
Considering this was on deadline day, this would most likely have been all of the remaining budget. So judging by that we would not have been able to sign any of: Turner, Stephens, Cargill, Jones, Kent, Rose, Cole, Bigi or Gadzhev. So I'm glad we didn't spend all our budget on one player, as if we hadn't been able to sign those defenders, we would have been totally and utterly ruined in the second half of the season.

Is that a fact?
stop worrying about facts. If we miss out on a player it's because our owners are the worst every and no matter what they should let no figure stand in the way of securing only the best services for our club. You know, "invest" ;)

That said, if they do that and we end up getting said player, it's thanks to TM cause he's in charge of the budget.

I thought that the management fees were just added to debt and not actually taken out.
No management fees is the movement of money between the ccfc related accounts. There is however, acrued interest. But thats not been paid out.

Oh, I see. I'm easily confused! But if money is moved between CCFC accounts, where is the interest generated?

Management fee doesn't exist since Otium took over. It was a financial tool to move cost between CCFC ltd and CCFC H. The popular myth that is still alive even today is that management fee was money paid to SISU. It never was and it has been proved countless times by OSB.

Interest is charged on the loans from sisu, but not paid out. Just added to the debt. You can ask why the loans command interests if not paid out, but I suppose it will turn up as increased value in SISU's investment portfolio.

Poor Walsall look like they are seeing the effects of not going up, lost the bulk part of there squad already.
Fleetwood and Shrewsbury made wholesale changes to there squads.
Charlton look to be getting a few steady players in at this level to rebuild after a terrible season with poor owners.
Port vale look like there committing suicide with a mass influx of foreign players... A massive gamble at this level.
Oxford look like they are doing the best business so far, expect a good season from them.

They are our worst owners ever.
Now that is a fact.

Yes it is.

But it's not the reason for everything we mess up, and it actually takes away from the credibility of the argument about the genuine things they do wrong, when they get moaned at for things like our second half slump...
