Do people really think that wasps and CC will drop everything if sisu drop the legal case? Behave yourself.

This move by wasps/CC is a direct move to hurt CCFC. Not Sisu.

That's the thing, people are acting as if it gets dropped and everybody will be falling over themselves to save the club.

The "SISU out at any cost" believers among you are deluded (in my opinion, of course). Do you really think that CSF's refusal to enter into negotiations to extend the Academy's lease on the Higgs Centre is because SISU, the devil incarnate, is in charge? No. Wasps want the Higgs, and will harm whoever comes in their way to get it.

Was that when we begged them to sell to wasps?

I don't know, you tell me. Someone must have introduced them and it certainly wasn't me. Was it you? Or any CCFC fan?

The fans have been taking digs at each other from the first day I visited this forum. I hope that some fans will now see who the enemy really is (regardless of our shitty owners) and we can unite against them.
YES UNITE FIGHT WASPS.

Actually, I think it's simply an attempt by Wasps to provide the best possible training facility for their team.
Why would they want 'to hurt CCFC'? To suggest that they would go to these legnths to do so is just silly. What would be the point of it?

Hopefully someone from local media will be asking the question of Wasps. Would be interesting to hear why they had to pick Higgs out of the 17 possible locations identified.

Because I suspect it was part of the original deal tbh, remembering Higgs share was sold for half of what SISU were looking to pay.

there is no infighting. anyone who backs council and wasps is NOT a ccfc fan

We shouldn't back anybody now. All parties need to work together to offer the best solution possible for CCFC.
Wasps/CCC can't really loose this battle.
CCFC need to be specific in what they want for the next 10 years and be prepared to commit to it.
CCC/Wasps/CSF need to be sympathetic to our requirements and a solution to the academy should be something achievable.
Still can't see how putting a swimming pool in the existing facility is cost effective or helps anybody.
Still can't see why Wasps need to build this side of the Higgs complex unless it's infrastructure costs of local roads etc.

We should back CCFC, that's who we all support. (Note, that is CCFC)

Which ones are there now?
I've only read it this morning, so you've probably already seen them.

Lots of "sisu fanboy' bollocks. They're definitely putting their hatred of sisu above the club. Moan that its not the SBT job to do this, saying they shoiksnt get involved.

To me it has reached the stage where we need to be backing SISU to help against all this crap that Is going on.

I agree with Italia on some of what he is saying. This isn't about fighting people, this is about the Trust sitting down with SISU/CCFC (one in the same at present) and looking at what options are available. They can then take those options to other parties who are affected.

Technically we are powerless in this, the sports foundation have control over Alan Higgs (not in our control), Wasps have control of ACL and Ricoh (out of our control). If the Butts is a viable option then lets escalate this and sit down with the council and work out a viable option which WILL get past planning and get this done. If they reject any movement here then we know what their direct motives are.
We are playing the injured party at the moment but its getting us nowhere. We need more action from the Trust rather than just statements stating the obvious

so if thats the case why did they not negotiate with Broad Street RFC to use their ground as a Training Acadamy they are currently using this quite adequatley today and i am sure if they sat down with the Broad Street directors and offered to build as it has more space than the AHC by the way they would jump at the chance. They have got enough room for 6 pitches and 3 kicking barns as they like to call them

our club is like a hostage in a kidnap situation.
Although we all hate the kidnapper some of us don't want to go in all guns blazing in case the hostage gets hurt but there seems to be a fair amount so blinded by their hatred for the kidnapper that they prepared to go in gung ho and not give a fuck about the casualties.

There is a certain amount of Stockholm syndrome on here!

Some of the comments on the CT are a disgrace.

I think my current favourite is the guy who said he first went to see the "Blues" 50 years ago. I don't think the PR team have done their homework correctly.

If they are like the ones on here they seem to be working to a template.

They sign up, make a post that stands out, when asked give it the "is this not a fans forum then" and try and make out it is because of a different opinion and they arent being allowed to say it.

Also the fact they only bother looking at certain threads.

It is all a bit rushed, isnt it? It is always better to play the long game and blend in.

Are you Adrian Durham? Posting such a ludicrous statement that doesn't help just to get a bite?

Anyone who backs the council or wasps by definition is not a fan of the football club.

Its not a fight it needs to be negotiated.
CA statement has some positives in it and ideally Wasps now need to pause and CCC, CSF, Wasps and Sisu come up with the Higgs solution.

You are forgetting CRFC who also are affected. They actually had a solution 3 years ago but it was mysteriously ignored!
