Ticket office staff losing jobs (5 Viewers)

It appears that it will be neither cheaper nor more convenient for us. We had match packages last season but nothing has been announced yet. I would expect to be able to print off match tickets from a package next season and I would not be expecting to pay a booking fee to do so. It looks at the moment like we won't be bothering next season. We shall see.....
So you want a better service but you don't want to pay for it?

In a way, yes. I want a decent service, which we haven't had for a while. They want us to buy tickets for their matches so they have an obligation to provide that decent service. If they don't, people will vote with their feet. Good customer service should not be an optional extra, it should be at the core of their business, not an added-cost item. Why do football clubs seem to think they can treat their customers with such contempt?

I said we wouldn't be having a season ticket last season. And we didn't. We went for a package.

Fair enough. Look forward to next summer's whinge.

It will probably be much the same as now. The club is run by incompetent clowns who are determined to run it into the ground. I truly fear for its future and anyone who doesn't is deluding themselves.

To be honest I think there are more pressing issues than you having to pay a booking fee for your tickets.

Absolutely right. I have almost become oblivious to the off-field soap opera that is CCFC these days. However, my concern is now our 'match day experience' which last season was inconvenient re tickets as we don't live in Coventry. Having been a fan since 1963 and having a season ticket every season from 1967 to 2013 it pains me to say it but I've had enough.

Yes, so now you are going to be able to order them online and print them at home. So it is better isn't it?

Am I? I didn't think the details of match packages had been announced yet. No online facility for these tickets last season even though I'd have been happy to pay the postage. We shall see....
