A question I guess for those who attend away games (1 Viewer)

9 away games so far this season, just 5 goals scored. That's just about 1 goal every 2 games.

Is it something to do with how we set out our stall, or are we too defensive, or are we just playing even more badly away from home?

Scoring at a rate of 1 goal every 2 games will probably result in not a single away victory the entire season.

I went to Birmingham away and watched Ipswich away on TV, I do not recall the keeper in either game making a notable save in the match. We are not good enough to break teams down with slow build up, the only time we look dangerous is when the full backs are crossing the ball in but 9/10 we don't get enough players forward for the crosses to be effective.

But why is that different to what we do at home? We are not really breaking teams down at home either.

You lot didn't deserve to lose today. You passed the ball well and worked pretty hard. Shame you can't shoot on target. Also your keeper looks a bit dodgy.

Yes you worked the ball into some good areas but some of your shooting was pub football stuff. You put us under a lot off pressure in the 2nd half but lacked a finishing touch. On a few occasions we did roast your full backs.

Well we have 16 goals in 19 games so I think that is your answer to the pub style shooting quip.

I thought we had great possession of the ball, but in front of goal we were woeful.
Juke skied 2
Keogh on his left went miles wide.

Do we practice shooting in training?

Clingan was abysmal, misplaced long balls and poor shooting.
Very impressed with gardner though.

After Palace, brum, ipswich, leeds and today, I can't see why I'm bothering with Peterborough and west ham!

I wouldn't read to much into your possession as we made Barnsley and Donny look good. We have won four matches at home and not one of them has been comfortable. Not like last season where matches were over by half time.
