Time for a trust statement (27 Viewers)

I would love it they said that they'd only continue if sisu stopped any legal action against the council.
They would then show themselves to be against democratic process.
They will not say it though.

JR1 - Continues after 4 judges are damning of Sisu.
JR2 - The legality of Wasps / CCC deal ?

You really need to take a breath and think about things.

I do unlike you who just continually makes untrue statements and portray them as facts. Eastwood will be proud of you.

Most companies in the country are owned by other people who have bought shares in it.
The indication of whether they are a good investment or not is reflected in there value.
Wasps shares are still worth more than the starting value.
This is incorrect. Wasps owe more moneythan what is secured against the arena. The bond issue only paid back 10m of what was previously owed. And that is why Wasps supporters say that they would have gone under if they never got the arena.

The ratepayers are happy or don't care?

The ridiculous attempt to state if we were liquidated we'd drop two divisions when it would be 10?

That's this week. Shall we look back any more?

And here we go again. It is either the fault of CCC or SISU if you believe this thread. And for the majority Wasps get an easy time taking our football clubs future away. Unbelievable.

tbh I've gone past blame in terms of these threads. I know what I think, but apart from biting now and again when I shouldn't, not convinced going round in the same old circles is productive.

What I do know is that if we don't point out our existence as a group, there's no reason for anybody to help us...

Exactly the blame game is "background noise" - it's clear if wasps PR and image is tarnished that can only help CCFC.

Let's get more articles appearing in the dailies that damage their image.

They will not say it though.

They will just say they are waiting till the legal action sees it course which they already have.

The nationals are not stupid

If you want them highlighted the plight of our club and fans you need to draw their attention to the full story.

They would only dig themselves to see what's behind Wasps behaviour.

So a two pronged approach is much better.

Plus like I say if you genuinely want to unite the fans that is the only way you will do it.

The point I'm making is that the requests might be unreasonable from where we are and impossible to agree.
David Armstrong said:
“We actually enjoyed a couple of months of very constructive conversations about a long-term deal here at the Ricoh Arena.

“I have seen Chris make reference to his 17-point plan, and I didn’t realise there were 17 points until he said that - but there probably were.

“But it wasn’t done where they came with a list of 17 demands, if we were going to do a long deal - and we were talking about a 20- or 25-year deal, he had drawn up a list of issues he thought we needed to address.

“We went through those line by line and put together a plan that would address what Coventry City need from it and that would still be commercially viable for us.

“We were making very good progress, we were probably halfway to two thirds of the way through the list.

“We still had some points not agreed, but we agreed some of the key points for example how to make food and beverage work from their point of view, how hospitality would work, where to locate a club shop in the stadium - all those sort of things were agreed.

The majority of fans I believe want wasps gone.

Armybike - a poster worshipped by wasps fans as standing for them - agrees with you though.

They haven't said they about legal action and never will to a national paper as - as you say - journalists in nationals aren't stupid and would probe vague "background noise" statements rather than swallow them like you and army bike and Italia.

They probably do but it wouldn't make any difference to our situation while Sisu are here.
They don't worship him they say he talks sense, along with osb58.
The Wasps statements seem to be followed up with actual plans unlike Sisu statements that only become enablers for Wasps/Higgs/CSF plans..

You just keep uniting the fans.
You are very good at it :troll:

Yes he didn't seemed to have a big issue with the 17 points, just the legal action. The same legal action most fans want dropped.
Despite that Grendel says we should only unite against Wasps and not also encourage all legal action to be dropped as well to encourage a reasonable solution !!!!

Well you are trying very hard to stop any unification against wasps - that's very obvious to all of us.

He didn't agree on any of the 17 points.

The legal action wasn't a factor at all. Keep their PR up though.

Or he did have issue with the 17 points - but from a PR perspective it's easier to shift blame onto the other party.

You would have to be very naive to think that a deal can be completed between 2 parties that soon will be in court battling each other.

How do others manage it then? And why enter into talks if you have no intention of concluding them? The legal action hasn't been some secret that's just been revealed.

Who says they have no intention of concluding them ?
I thought they were on hold until the legals have finished.
We won't get a good deal while Sisu are in court against Wasps.
Whats the problem waiting as we have 2 years to conclude ?

No wasps presented a deal that was impossible and they couldn't agree on one single point.

I thought Wasps wanted to discuss on Higgs but CA is waiting at Ryton for the postman to deliver a letter ?

Desperate. Wasps aren't even in yet - so how can they talk about anything? Oh and they won't either. That car park must be worth a lot.

You surrender your dignity every day on here because of it.

Sounds like an uninformed rant to me, no content and typical of the "Lets back Sisu now because CCC and Wasps are carrying on without us" brigade.
Bit of jealousy thrown in there as well.
Divisive, insulting and clueless (Abbrev. : Grendel)

Not wanting to step on Grendel's toes, I do believe you stated the Ricoh would now be the JLR stadium. I believe you gave a timescale long passed. I think that means you were wrong.

* Edit didn't realise Sick Boy had already raised this, but you seem to have deflected the fact that you were wrong.

Still going around in circles. A few things need to happen. SISU either need to come clean about third-party litigation or drop the legals. CA then has to go public with his 17 points.

Only by losing the subterfuge can we unite as fans. The subterfuge is not letting us have a clear picture to unite behind. It's as simple as that for me. Until things come clearer you will never know what to do for the best. Being angry and shouty when you don't understand what you're being angry and shouty about gains CCFC nothing. Until then the best you can do go and watch the team, cheer them on and buy merchandise, programs etc.

SISU need to help us with a clearer picture before we can fight their battles for them. Until that happens we're just going to have the continue merry-go-round of he said she said. If SISU can't come clean on a few things then it's more than time for them to go. They aren't helping the club.
