You do know that I wasn't blaming everyone I mentioned but using it to point out how Wasps are doing what they want and everyone else is taking the blame?

Try looking a bit further than what you think you need to. You will see more of what is going on then.

But there's no blame being levelled, because no blame can be levelled.

The fact it's fucking over the Academy doesn't mean the process should or is be dealt with in any other way, because opinion doesn't form part of planning law/regs.

I'm fully aware of what's going on, I just don't buy into conspiracy theories and cherry pick the bits that suit.

You never did offer a link re Cameron by the way.

And yet again you don't have a clue in what I said.

Or would you like to tell everyone what the point is that I am getting at? You seem to be the only one who doesn't get it. Or do you ask for proof again as you don't understand a point that is being made?

I think if you look at that list of reasons that an application can be refused on there isn't many things on there that BPA isn't going to have issues with. Even if CCC backed it 100% it seems highly unlikely it will be successful. Based on the obvious I don't understand why people are arguing the point. It's not like an application has even been made.

So you didn't say Wasps are taking the piss, can do what they want and everyone else is taking the blame?

So why did you go off on one about CCC having no choice on what they can do?

Amazing what you can read when sent in the right direction the second time :D

Article to the CET regarding objections to the Higgs centre planning application.

Only printed some emotional objections, (and although I agree with the sentiment these weren't going to be taken seriously), and none that were submitted in accordance with the councils guidelines for objections, (as posted by OSB). Another CET stitch up!
Zzzźzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzźzz
Why is it a stich up if there is nothing there is nothing....
Or have you found one written to the Telegraph and they have refused to print it?

In this day and age I honestly don't think it goes on, certainly not within Councils and around the actual application process - but this is my personal opinion.

Planning Law is heavily leant towards the applicants and it's actually far easier for an application to all run smoothly.

I think the fact that both SISU and CRFC have acknowledged any application at the Butts would have hurdles to overcome speaks volumes.

The "leaked" mail referred to covenants the Council wanted to change ( impose ) but could not. My original post referred to covenants at "AEHC" not planning

Go off on one? You get how debates work right?

I fully understood what you were trying to get across and still don't get why you brought blame into the equation.

Who's being blame? Blamed for what?

Also this thing about Wasps taking the piss/being able to do what they want - the fact they're moving things forward does equal they're being given free rein.

Because you disagree with a situation doesn't mean the situation is wrong.

great one here:

Submission: Objection Comments: I suspect any objection to this application is essentially pointless. The CCC-Wasps love affair will dictate that this sails through - they could build a 60ft egg coloured in gold and black stripes adorned with the face of Ann Lucas and it would get a hearty thumbs up.

Cant see mine on there though. DOes that mea it must have some merit?

Just read the telegraph comments the usual knob heads like Wollaston are on there and he talks his regular brand of shit, gave us a little mention to us as well.

He makes my blood boil. Worst thing about it is that we share the same surname, but I'd like to make it clear he's no relation whatsoever! People often ask if I know him. I went into the ticket office once to collect a ticket and they asked for my name, and when I said it all the staff looked at me like I was the devil.

Sounds like you are happy that Wasps are taking over what our club needs to survive and prosper. I wasn't apportioning blame. I was saying how all the other sides get the blame and Wasps hardly get questioned on what they are doing.

They came to Coventry as it could be said that there was an empty stadium. But our academy never left their home. So what excuse do they have for choosing our academies home out of 17 places they said they looked at?

I'm happy about the situation? No, I'm just not buying into baseless conspiracy theories.

Some people talk business, others get on with it. That doesn't mean I'm happy that the situation that CCFC find themselves in.

What has people regurgitating the same arguments/points here achieved or proven?

What blame do the other sides get? Blame from who? You've still not answered that point.

SISU and CCFC have repeatedly said they're going to build their own stadium and also amalgamating the first team training and Academy in a new development.

The 'yes, but that doesn't mean they'd given notification they'd be leaving' doesn't stack up. If you state your intention, then it's reasonable for other parties to look at how they will cover any shortcomings. Fisher has even in the last few weeks, despite all the problems it's caused, and said that a new stadium and combined training/academy is still a possibility and a site has been identified.

With regards why they choose Higgs, I'd suggested because it was the best option for them and not the bring about the demise of the academy - the academy that it's repeatedly been stated will be moved to a different location.

It's called business.

They haven't really stated anything to be honest.
Sisu/CCFC seem to have gone quiet on everything, just when its essential they talk about it.
I'm expecting a new Sisu bombshell in the next few days.

Talk to anyone and everyone what they want for the club.
It seems they are not very verbal about it at the moment.
I have no idea what they want.
Ricoh, Butts, new stadium ? What's the plan ?
Higgs, New facility ?
First team at Ryton, Higgs or new facility ?
Going, leaving, sharing ?
Short term deal, Long term deal ?

People on here might want to fight their battles but at least ask them for a bit of direction.

Are you pretending that you know nothing?

Wasps say that they won't have any more talks until the legals all stop. Then suddenly they announce that they are taking over the home of our academy.

So in a couple of days they refused to talk and take away what our football club needs to survive. SISU have said that their first choice is what has been taken away. But you try to blame it all on SISU :(

So you are saying that SISU want to move the first team there but you don't know if they want to stay there? :D

No, didn't they not request an extension past 2017 even though there was talk of a swimming pool in place of the indoor pitch?
Then when Wasps put in their planning application didn't they suddenly mention moving the first team there?
In theory they could pursue still maintaining the academy with Wasps help but suddenly the first team want to come as well.
We then have the silliness of requiring a letter before they discuss.
You may be happy with being messed around but don't expect anything to happen without Sisu making some effort.

Not strictly true, according to Anderson has tried a number of times to start talks about staying at the higgs, paul breeds leaked emails prove that they tried before wasps planning application.

Has the club approached CSF about extending its agreement past the existing arrangement? If so, how many times, when and what was the response?

“Yes, we have approached CSF several times, in person and in writing. The responses have varied from a noncommittal ‘we are prepared to explore options, as much as we are able’, and then, over the last few weeks, silence, when we asked for specific terms for extending the lease.”

Interesting, that you've changed your tac from not asking to keep the academy there to going on about the first team. That was quite clearly an attempt to show how committed we could be to the higgs centre if we could keep the academy there.

Basically the first team suggestion was the club saying we are ready to commit to the Higgs long term

The clubs unwillingness to commit to the Higgs long term has been a sticking point hasn't it? In fact the CSF specifically referenced the clubs unwillingness to commit long term as the reason they sought out Wasps.

Then it transpires that they have inserted a clause which prevents the club from committing long term. Seems a bit contradictory

Hmm, personally I'd be a bit nervous about this first team thingy. Isn't that suggesting we sell off about the only last thing we own to rent something else?!?
