Why would they push the city of rugby so hard to then try and get ccfc prospering? The only way will be if it's somebody to play nice with wasps.

Yep, well that's my thinking.

As I say, it's just fantasy talk, trying to work out why CCC are being so hard nosed.

Wasps want us out and they want the rugby league team in.

That's why an option at the Butts for example is vital or the club will not exist.

That's why all attention has to be focused on wasps.
The Butts isn't going to happen. Think that has been clear pretty much from the off.

It's all well and good saying let's get out there as soon as we can, but we have nowhere to go. That makes it very dangerous talk to talk of just getting out. We need foundations in place, otherwise we will just end up playing many miles away, groundsharing and back in front of 15,00 supporters.

I didn't but over time I start to wonder if there's more to it as more things get revealed. I don't really see what Kieran has to gain tweeting things that aren't true when he doesn't even work at the club anymore.

OK Dave, let's assume that Kieran is genuine and so is the story he's telling. It still comes down to what I said in my original reply to you. No one wants to deal with SISU, it's time for them to go and the sooner the better. If Kieran's tweets are factually accurate all it's doing is adding to an already long list of people who don't want to do deal with SISU.

The law of averages must mean that SISU are the problem.

Been in the back of my mind too. Might all just be fantasy thinking, but part of me still can't believe the council would have just dropped us in it like this and abandoned us and you have to remember, many of the city's councillors are Sky Blues supporters and fans.

Just keep wondering if there is something bigger behind all this and it is a case of trying to force Sisu out before then taking the club forwards and helping us out.

We can keep dreaming can't we! ;)
Doubtful its gone too far now, they can't just backtrack on all the city of rugby crap and Wasps PR they've done over the last few years. I think they couldn't give a shit if we have a club or not now. They've sold our stadium for the next 250 years and are now moving Wasps into our academy for the next how ever many years to come, how do you come back from those sort of decisons?

They don't, because there were issues before sisu came in too with the club and the stadium wasn't there? I'd say the common theme has been our council hasn't it?

What would ccc need to do before you thought they were going to damage the club?

I did say this was back of my mind thinking, Nick and I have consistently said the council have treated us very poorly.

They can hardly push anything connected with "us" at the moment can they, in our
current form we are an embarrassment to them and the city.
This notion that the council want to kill the club ( although popular on here) I find a
bit ridiculous, why would they want that, it makes no sense.
It's SISU they want rid of, I presume we all want rid of them, but unlike us the council
have had "up close and personal " dealings with them, as have others and NONE of
Them can deal with them.

What A444 site Kieran Crowley is talking about?

Land is being cleared on Bermuda but it is to small for everything they want, probably for Wasps expansion it Warwickshire so they could have the city of rugby and the town of rugby.

And you know this for a fact how?

The guy has just called for peace talks between all parties. I assume you are just assuming that is a lie. It may be, it may not be, but you simply do not know if it is sincere or not, but let's not that get in the way, eh.

At least state things as your opinion instead of posting everything as fact for once. With you it is always 'he is crap,' 'this is this,' 'that is that!' Hardly ever, ever hear you say 'in my opinion.'

Do you know this guy? How do you know for a fact it's just spin? Just an assumption on your part.

If we can have peace talks between all parties we should all be for it surely!

Some people don't want piece talks Otis. They're more interested in shouting at what they perceive to be the problem rather than concentrate on a cure.

An embarrassment, really? We were just outside the play offs last year, we could have gone up without that slump.

You are right though, what city would back it's football club through thick and thin?

Rise as what? Wasps' bitch?

SISU will not leave until they choose to. The fight right now is not with them. They now have more than sufficient evidence to move us out of Coventry again on a temporary move, the FL will have no choice to accept it.

If you are so interested in a fight - then why don't you back your club for once and focus on the common foe.
Don't come the "bigger fan than you shit" with me pal, we all have a view and because
I don't share yours makes me no less a fan

Yep, agree with that. The council do not want to destroy the club I'm sure, they just want to destroy Sisu. Would be ridiculous of the council to want to destroy the football team that has been in existence here since 1883. It's a nonsense.

That doesn't mean of course that in destroying Sisu, CCFC don't suffer the consequences.

We still have 2 years left on the Ricoh deal, none of this is going to make sisu drop the legal action or leave the club anytime soon.

They don't seem too bothered about the cross fire do they?

Will.sisu be destroyed? They will just trot back to London.

Where did I say about the bigger fan?? Perhaps you should read what I said again.

What I did say is that you are putting your energy into the wrong fight...

Well they are going about trying to destroy sisu by destroying the club. Even if they destroy the club, they won't destroy sisu, they all know this.

So you can only assume that they truly don't give 2 shits about the club.

Yeah, of late on here it's become very shouty, shouty, blinkered Mr. Angry Pants!

Some people need to get a grip.

Can't believe some are huffing and puffing about someone wanting all sides to sit round a table and talk. They won't be satisfied with anything less than all out war!
:rage::punch::rage::punch::rage::sour:

We need to explore EVERY avenue. Every single one.

As Otis has said, something at the back of my mind says if this has all been done to get rid of SISU. Then CCC are playing a blinder!

Which avenues do you suggest? Like the higgs invites etc?

Or of course we 'SHOULD JUST GET OUT AS SOON AS WE CAN, EVEN IF WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE TO GO! COME ON, LET'S LEAVE, LEAVE, LEAVE NOW! '

People talk of destroying this club, well no better way than us being taken back to somewhere like Northampton again, groundsharing and losing thousands and thousands and thousands of fans.

You don't think moving to Northampton and endless court cases are a tad embarrassing

Try everything, Nick and just stop keep saying Wasps want to destroy us and nothing will work!

We should be urging everyone to get round the table to thrash things out. Might get us nowhere, but we need to try.
