Of course they are to blame as much as Mowbray for our slump and failure to get in the play offs atleast, just needed a couple of loans after Maddidon was sold a relativly cheap option.

& therein lies the problem, there seem to be a number of ways the owners could increase the budget, but, being in control of finances, they have not employed football people in the financial control of the company

Yes it is.

But it's not the reason for everything we mess up, and it actually takes away from the credibility of the argument about the genuine things they do wrong, when they get moaned at for things like our second half slump...
Credibility for what exactly?

The "Owners" can "Gift" money to buy players. Or is that something you didn't know?
I'm not sure thats true. I was under the impression they had to inject equity and that transfers were included as part of FFP (Swindon got a transfer embargo when the tribunal agreed the compensation for James Collins Swindon handed transfer embargo after breaking Financial Fair Play rules | Daily Mail Online
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...bargo-breaking-Financial-Fair-Play-rules.html)

Edit: although stuff online suggests transfer fees are outside SCMP, so I have no idea why Swindon went into a transfer embargo.

Personally I would rather sisu didn't "gift" the club money and we are as financially independent as possible from them.

Besides they have wasted enough money treading water, like most other owners in this league I can't see them wanting to throw money at the club.

Just needed a couple more loans? Despite the fact that we already had 6 and could only have 5 in the matchday squad?

Why did we need more money? We had a top 6 budget and only signed more players in the Jan transfer window? Again why are they at fault for not giving even more money when they had agreed a budget with the manager which got us to the top of the league at one point?

You people are so blinded by your hatred for the owners that you cannot see how ridiculous you sound blaming absolutely everything on them. Typical coventry attitude - there's got to be somebody else to blame, some culprit who is deliberately wronging them.

I do seem to have stumbled in to that territory. Can't see us being in for him and Leon Clarke. We'll have a lot of striking options if we do bring both in. Then there is still the hope of Armstrong coming back. 4 up top?

Out the 2 if there was the choice I'd take leon as you no what your getting and likely 15 goals, and he can lead a front line. With all the talk of the possible tribunal fee it's likely gonna cost the same as signing leon.
