It says in the telegraph that we have a trialist and a striker who's going to sign, I have seen a few people saying it's Tom Pope who has been released by Bury due to him wanting to move closer to his home in Stafford.

Yeah he's on trial.

Shrewsbury didn't fancy him.

My mates 2 brothers play with him at Hitchin, meant to be a cracking lad & a very good player that everyone expects to make it pro very soon.

He suggested they may well have a look at him but not seen him in action yet and not yet on trial. Clearly been recommended. - From the press conference earlier on Smith

Maybe Kane Smith is due to start training with us on Monday, would tie in with Mowbray saying he hasn't seen him yet and the other reports saying he is training with us.
